I decided I just don't want to work this month/year/or better yet the last 10 years. so I would like for you to pay all my bills while I relax this month...that is modern day socialism

Thinking about knowing what we're called to do - Amy Grant has a song about a prayer her first mother-in-law taught her: "Lord, lead me today to those I need, and to those that need me. And let something I do have eternal significance." kzbin.info/www/bejne/oIrLfGuDi8l8p7ssi=4YzQmrh6HZAmBh8Q

Eddie Zheng is one fine player: his Bach postlude was extraordinary, as was his performance of the prelude piece written in tribute to Riverside's legendary organist, Frederick Swann.

How can God be faithful to the Jews when they never recognized Jesus peace be upon him who was sent to correct their behavior and belief. They broke their covenant and are committing evil in the Holy Land.

Why is the story of creation in Christianity accepted, while others are called myths?
@trcnyc11 күн бұрын
Or maybe they’re all myths! We tend to think that the creation myth in Genesis 1 was likely influenced by the Mesopotamian creation myth.

Nice performance of one of Noble's most perfect anthems. Fine tenor soloist too. (This is/was my favorite solo back in the day!). Lovely organist as well. So great to see/hear this rich, wonderful choral rep still being performed. Keep passing it on!

Zion means Holy Place. Israel is not a holy place and The Almighty God says, "There is NO LONGER Jew or Greek", all are called and must accept the salvation given in Christ Jesus our Lord. Too many Christians are biblically illiterate. The new Jerusalem is from above, not visible but lived in us. We are the kingdom of God. ❤

Ignorance begets ignorance. He speaks about poverty as if poverty is the government’s fault or responsibility. Most of the millions of people that are not in poverty isn’t because of the government it’s because of people are taking responsibility for their lives. It’s appalling to me that we have generations of people on welfare in a nation with so much wealth and opportunity. Rather than bad mouthing politicians why not lay the blame on the people who refused to make the necessary changes to prosper in this nation. Millions have done it. Nothing is given everything should be earned. I’m tired of the excuses. If you are not willing to earn your money then you shouldn’t get it. I’ve been working for 46 years and haven’t been given anything. I don’t make excuses but I do what I have to do to succeed. No hand outs no assistance.
