Hello, GANG 22 year retired Navy here. "They", the ENEMY do not care about your pronouns. Petty Officer is a fine title and if you are an Officer then Sir or Ma'am are also perfect. YOU are part of a WAR MACHINE and therefore are required to serve as a professional. If you are disturbed by any pronoun(s) then Disney is hiring. YOU, THEY, IT has NO PLACE in our military. Do you want our Elite SEALS being offended by a word? I am sure a combatant will surely momentarily yield while you correct their usage of pronouns before they shoot YOU. Please, WAKE UP people and put on your respective big boy and big girls pants and do your job; we are in the business to defend our nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. It seems to me we fighting the latter and will lose any foreign conflict with our current state of political/societal correctness.
