Did the expense of the epoxi plus the time taken return in the price you can reasonably charge for an ashtray do you have any tips for reasonably cost affective pieces to make that sell

First off thanks so much for your channel love passionate people who share their knowledge and skills especially realistic people who tell you the pitfalls and the messups to avoid. So thanks Right a few questions please. I am doing big epoxy resin pour for table top but I am practising first on some coasters table matt for myself because I don't want to mess the big pour job I am actually doing. Did you sand the hardened face between each pour or do you just wipe it and repour and do you greace your mould.

Thank you for this video! It's almost winter here and I keep the thermostat at 55 degrees. I haven't started my project yet, but I never would have thought about the room temperature affecting my resin curing properly. ❤ THANK YOU ❤

Good video. Most people are not going to want to learn the Leonardo program. You can do everything you did in that program in Word, which will make it easier for most people.

I used diamond glaze and then touched it and left fingerprints on it after my hard work.. 😢 I heard to wipe alcohol to wipe it and, it turned cloudy. In tears. Does anyone know how to get fingerprints off of diamond glaze? Thanks.

Im just curious why no one talks about proper room temperature and what its supposed to be exactly to cure your epoxy properly, cuz that was my mistake, after I poured, we left the house and turned down the temperature for the whole week, now I have tacky kitchen counters😬😬😬😬🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

Hi, I'm asking a few resin experts... Do you think it would be possible to make a two-piece mold out of resin for casting/injecting soft plastics...? Would be awesome to check it while injecting the plastisol.
@amywike1196 Жыл бұрын
1. PPE 2. Alcohol and/or wipes or paper towels. 3. Warm resin. 4. Level surface. I got one on Amazon and the level in the table I bought didn't equal other level I already had. 5. Mix right. Pay close attention to the instructions on whatever brand you buy. 6. Get a torch or heat gun. These are the things I've learned. I love watching videos like yours because it's important to share experiences for the best results.

Can we use clear stocker paper for printing the pics instead of transparency sheet? Will the gold foil stick to it? Also, can we use ink tank or eco tank printers for the same? Will the gold transfer foil stick to it?

And will it also work if I use a white A4 sheet instead of transparency film?

Hi, HELP! I used a torch to get bubbles out of a project & it caught a small flame, then when I demolded part of it stuck & tore the silicone mold a bit. Can I still use the mold?
@baywitchblooming Жыл бұрын
Hi there! Unfortunately that happens easily with a torch, and that’s why I avoid one and use a heat gun! For the mold, it depends on how badly it’s torn, where it’s torn, etc. If it’s able to be filed down after you demold it and a top coat put on, then you can still use it! I hope that makes sense
@GrannyHugs Жыл бұрын
Thank you hon.This does help. However I forgot it was torn a bit, not bad & used the mold. So I will see how it goes. I stopped using the torch, I'm using a heat. I don't want to ruin my molds.
