Did a lot of revision on the first floor cuz it felt claustrophobic to me. /a/L91NkHH (for imgur) Had revisions to the top mostly as a result of changing the bottom so much, but don't care for it as much and I lost steam before decorating cuz I've no head for it. Been enjoying building along to this series apart from when my neuroses take me down hours long rabbit holes.

Downside of the tiny home format is that things do get cramped. I was never really happy with the downstairs either, to be honest

Gonna try 👍. A major attack of Life has left me with very little time for gaming, but I did update last night, and got a first look at the new pieces. They really gave us some cool toys 😊

@@sorchaazuragaming4765 Nice! I was amazed watching you create the multiple levels of that space. I decided to turn that into the pantry and private dining area for the kitchen staff. I haven't completed fitting it out yet, but I made half the upstairs section of the main hall into the master suite. I also took out the wall of that center section window on the front and made it into an open balcony for the Jarl and his family.

That sounds fabulous! Garllok specifically asked for his room entrance to be “secret”, so that’s why I went with that layout. I’m quite proud of it, but yours is objectively a more plausible use of the space lol

This is awesome! I would have never considered placing the forge/smelting area on the 2nd floor loft. This is so perfect though. I love it. You are so creative with how you assemble and place things to completely transform how things look. I'm going to be binging your videos for ideas. I've got over 1,900 hours in Valheim, and I've probably watched at least 300-400 hours of Valheim creator content on KZbin and I certainly wish I would have come across your channel 2 years ago. lol. I just built Garllok's Longhouse in my current survival playthrough, and although I won't be doing a complete copy/paste of your stuff, I'll definitely be making it similar.

Hello I am new to Valheim and preparing for Bonemass. Are the core wood 1m beams needed in that high count? Does that help damage in case of an event? I am trying to embed your perfect small house build but also protect it from event and specially the garden. The shaman spits aoe over the fences and killed my only turnips. I wanna make a better base. I am playing vanilla and do not have so many resources.

I really like looking at the house but who cares about looking how it was built, especially if you're using cheat mode?

You are more than welcome to skip to the reveal, if that’s all you want to see. There are tons of people that do want to see the process. As for using console commands, the devs themselves have endorsed it, and have actively made it more user friendly for the players. “Cheating” only applies if you are misrepresenting what you are doing. I am completely open about my use of commands, because I enjoy the creative process. How I enjoy my game is not for you to decide.

I had issues recently too. They seem to have increased the spacing needed, and things won't clip through anymore. I can still place floors, walls, and beams through things that are already there, but not the other way around. The unfortunate nature of an ever changing game 😕
