Aegir's Rest tutorial - Part 2 - Valheim Meadhall

For part 2 of the Aegir's Rest meadhall tutorial, I do the exterior decoration, and fix a small mistake from the previous video.
Eagle eyed viewers might notice that I have structural integrity turned off with a mod. This is because I put this demo build in my art world, and there are other structures that would collapse without it.
This is an exact copy of a building in an un-modded world, so rest assured that it won't collapse if you build it yourself. No mods are needed.

very nice ambitious build, love the little details! I've been thinking about recording some of my builds, what software are you using to record?

I'm recording with Xbox game bar, because it came preinstalled on my PC, and I was too lazy to look up other options. Editing with Adobe PremierePro.

Does the wood you placed outside like that degrade because of the weather? How does it look after degrades

Dark wood doesn’t degrade at all. In regular wood, or core wood, the slanted pieces won’t degrade, but the straight pieces do. Before Hearth and home came out, some of the exterior wall decorations were the regular straight wood, and they didn’t have any protection over them, so they did degrade to a greenish color. I was ok with it, because the shape was more important to me than the color. Side note: slanted wood pieces provide shelter for anything underneath them. If you put them close enough to each other, you can make custom roofs without using any roof tiles
