I think just regular string, I just went to the shop and asked for strings of different colors, no idea what they gave me, because in all cases I never left them on my locs for too long so I didn’t care

The problem here is that one of two of them are definitely wool/ came extensions..maybe someone adding a bit of length to their dreads as they mature they shrink..but having a full head of take dreads I.personally don't find attractive.Maybe I' m old fashioned..just old school .

Wonderful. I have a buddy from h.s. who became one of the most sought after hair stylists in northern California. She started her locs around 10 years ago and now has some of the longest natural locs I've ever seen. They reach below her belt line at this point and still look beautiful. Although she said at this length it's hard work maintaining them. Even things like the weather can cause problems.
