Fiveman - Havent seen it Jetman - Havent seen it Zyuranger - 7/10 - a solid sentai show, nothing brilliant but nothing awful eitehr, bandora's obsession with attacking kids holds the show back cause most of the kids are terrible actors and results in poor episodes like the genie and spider statue, But when we get the main plot stuff like Burai's arc, the doquita clay upgrade arc and the finale its shows there's a great story in there. Burai is criminally underused, he doesn't fight a single a single monster outside of zord battles and the main episode he does get is that boring one with the stupid spinning wheel. overall despite my negatives its a fun show but a missed opportunity Dairanger - 8/10 - a show I would have scored higher if the ending didnt make the entire show pointless, here's a giant dragon thats gonna destroy everything if you dont stop fighting but hey the cycle is eternal so guess what your fucked. also the villains twist made no damn sense, it renders Kujaku's moment with the sacred tear thing irrelevant and meaningless, thankfully the story for 48 episodes was great, just a shame about the last 2. Kou just like Burai is barely used and fights only a single monster, one fo thsoe sisters in his introductory story, stop wasting the 6ths sentai. Kakuranger - 8/10 - The start of this is really hard to get through, in fact you can skip episodes 5-11 and literally nothing has happened, the show picks up with the introduction of Gashadokuro and we finally have a threat, love the two parter where Sasuke has to save the team in the woods and a later episode where he's hunted down by the kunoichi. again they get rid of Gashadokuro far to quickly as Daimaou is nowhere near as interesting. the family drama for Tsuruhime and the two parter Jiraiya gets about his dad makes up for it i suppose but at 55 episodes this one is just too long and doenst need those extra episodes Ohranger - 8/10 - the tonal shift is barely anything in this series, there's plenty of "dark" stuff after the so called change like episode 32 which is one of the best sentai episodes in history, or the execution episode. at the end of the day if you like sentai then this is just like any other, it has some great episode and some stupid episodes like the baby crying episode. the middle is a bit of a let down when Bomber takes over as the villain for about 10 episodes, that could have been cut down a bit to give Bulldont more time, another 6th who is underused as always in Riki and he arrives really late too. Carranger - 8/10 - a fun show, despite the comedy there's plenty to like here, the villains are fun, the love story between Kyosuke and Zonette is fun, Signalman is always entertaining, just get rid of Dapp, he's unbelievably annoying. It has one of the best endgame arcs in sentai Megaranger - 10/10 - the best of the best, as close to perfect as you'll get, the neziranger are brilliant, the rest of the villains are great and always a threat and the endgame arc here is the best one so far, the characters are some of the best too and we finally have a 6th hero that does things, Girell is also a nice later addition to the villains and really ramps up the stakes in his finale arc. another series with one of the best episodes in history with the episode they're all poisoned. If you can only watch one 90s sentai this is the one you want to see. Gingaman - 8/10 - like most early sentai nothing really stand out about this one, the villains are ok, there's a decent rivalry with hayate and Shelinda but the rest arent very interesting, the final general is just a big brute that smashes stuff, at least the first 3 did things, the heroes are fine, they're your standard heroic red, strong guy, cool guy, the kid and the girl, the 6th in this one is pretty cool though even though they come up with some convoluted stuff to get him out of the way for most of the last 10 episodes, its a good show though just not that memorable. GoGo Five - currently watching now.

Personally Timeranger vs GoGoV is my top 3 favorite vs movie. I remember like 2007ish someone uploaded the movie in clips to youtube. I downloaded it off a youtube converter and the rest was history.

Interesting to see another perspective on this series. I haven’t finished Zyuranger yet (as of the time I write this I have seven episodes left), and my thoughts are largely the same. The whole kid of the week thing really drags down the episodes it’s featured in, and it’s no surprise that the best written and paced episodes were the ones that actually focused on the Rangers, with no one off kids to take the spotlight. I can definitely see the appeal of Goushi, but to me, he was just as bland as Geki and Mei. Boi was definitely my favorite, I might not have liked the kid of the week plots, but whenever Boi played a role in them, it made them easier to stomach. Also I’m glad someone hates Dan as much as I do. Outside of the core five, I definitely think Burai was the best handled of the Rangers, though I think it came at the cost of the other Rangers potentially getting more development. Anytime he was featured, he’d tend to steal the spotlight. I still like him, but his exposure had its issues Overall I enjoy Zyuranger, but I have a feeling that if it weren’t for its importance to Power Rangers, I’d probably have no interest in it. And as I watch more Sentai, I’ll probably find myself caring about it less and less

Fiveman gets a bad rap. I think personally I enjoyed it a lot more than some recent Sentai. FiveRed is an incredible Red. He may come off one dimensional but when the action of the show is that good you can give it a pass. Personally the mid to late 20’s is painful to get through but when the show hits the 30’s and the team gets the upgrade it’s more watchable tbh. I think it’s a solid show just suffers from mediocre writing halfway.

the suits heroes and villains were nice even many monsters

I feel they got lazy with this had an interesting idea but did not put all the effort in. had its moments but just did not live up to its potential.

To be honest i didn't enjoy fiveman all that well despite the suits and fight scenes none of the characters or episodes i enjoyed except for remi it just felt boring and nothing great really came from this show

I actually own a physical copy of the Fiveman Series and only watched the first 7 episodes and it felt to me like the whole show was going to be episodic filler. Could you tell me when you think the plot picks up?

matoi is easily a top 5 red for me, he's a dick but it makes him stand out in the crowd of typically good natured/upbeat characters. plus suit actor Hirofumi Fukuzawa gave such an expressive and memorable performance, he made that faceless suit absolutely come to life

You know I noticed an error in the Lightspeed Lost Galaxy team up that the magna defender zord was visible for one quick blink and you’ll miss it shot at the end of the team up episode.

Wish you would mention the ep where the trio of monster realest a feather bomb and one of them get to the character of the week a mother and her child to this day this is my favourite ep in toku ever I can feel the tension and when the timer is up and just when we thought the mother made it the bomb explored, I thought the mother and the child die couple with the way it end the ranger having to spread out running away while the trio of monster chase them down OMG I have not seen a hero been Defeated to this level
