I so loved how you're all by yourself, yet NOT. How sweet is it that random people care enough to send a search party out for you while you were exploring. How sweet is it that the siblings let you suss out their hut while they were occupying it. It Defiantly helps having a 4WD as the road is very uneven and harsh ! but i would say most of the places i visited in the Flinders Ranges a 2wd could get to if your willing to push it and dont mind the odd stone chip here and there ! The Ferguson, Blinman hut and Artimore ruins are the only places i went to that you need a 4WD ! Just make sure you have some good tyres as the rocks there are really sharp and you drive on old river beds! i would highly recommend a tyre deflator/ puncture repair kit. Bring heaps of water as there seriously minimal out there or your paying for it $$

In order to get the truck under the hoist easier, did you not consider simply letting some air out of your tyres? That would have immediately lowered your truck. 👍

Another downside worth noting is the trundle draw is made of steel as opposed to aluminium which is a shame as that adds extra weight.

Not at all mate just make sure you have good all terrain tyres as the rocks are really sharp and bring heaps of fuel and water as its quite remote out here

Thank you for the review. I think a white canopy would cut the heat inside alot. So many 4x4 with Black canopy. I want to go black cause my 4by is black , with a white canopy it might look funny. But if it cuts the heat down by half, ill be going white.I like the TC boxes and going that way also. Thankyou

Thx for this review. I am seriously looking to buy one for my Gu S4 patrol front diff, like you said they are very cost effective but I couldn't find any reviews but yours has helped heaps. Just an FYI these E lockers have a 6 year warranty the Harrop e locker has only 12mths so that is also giving me some confidence to pull the trigger on the purchase.

Nice work Men . The GU Ute sounds like it needs a different turbo to spool up earlier to get the 37s spinning off the line in 2nd or 3rd in the mud or try 2 high 1st

The Z-Fold looks amazing and well priced for what you get! Trust me you wont be disappointed with a z shape frame roof top as they are way more versatile and being able to fit 2 people in side either ends on those wet rainy days playing board games is a real treat !
