Long Canyon trail is currently NOT an easy/2WD trail; I was there last week. Several washouts in early September have made it only appropriate for high clearance, short wheelbase, dual-range 4WD vehicles with good AT tires. Some guys in a Tacoma even had to be towed last week.

So happy my 06 has it right on top next to the engine. With a spot to fit a hose to drain right into a container

Great vid! Waiting for my 5100s to arrive and I've been dead set on going stock springs and #5 2.5" setting. After seeing your vid, I'm tempted to go with a 2" lift spring and set it to #1 or #2 if the up and down travel isnt compromised vs. Stock springs with #5 setting. I'm amazed because all I've read and watched about lift springs or any other spring aside from the stock springs partnered with the 5100s have been a horrible ride experience.

If you can get a good price you might try the 5160 & 6112 it's a nice upgrade to what your running & much cheaper than king or icon if the time comes to replace & you get a good price I had 5100s & I upgraded to 5160 & 6112 & it's like going from stock to billstien the first time it does everything better than my 5100 setup it's really nice & unlike competition high $ setups you don't have to rebuild every 6 months & they cost a lot less

Sad to say, #3 (Alder Creek) is now closed due to the brush fire started by an idiot pyromaniac. It’ll be a long time before anything in this area will be reopened.
