The theory behind this project is very interesting. The problem is that the time taken to unload ships at the ports at either end of the railway then reload at the port at the opposite end of the railway don’t seem to have been taken into consideration which will probably be a day at either end. The other problem is that the rail line would need to be double tracked to enable freight trains to run almost continuously in both directions as the Panamax Container Ships carry approximately 10000 containers. One only wishes the project success as anything that will creates legitimate jobs is a good thing for everyone.

The real fact is that even if having the mafia bridge, as soo. you are in Sicily, if you want go by train to Palermo, it take minimum 3 hours and half to make 260km, not to mention that many of the streets if Sicily are in ruin 😂

Most of these projects came from marxists commie dodgy governments here in australia. Completely lining the pockets of marxists like daniel andrews. Very few of the projects are well planned and some of them will never be completed; wasting more large sums of money on the new fake religion of climate change. Time to leave this once great nation before its slides into the sea

I honestly believe we need more nuclear power plants and get out of wind & hydrogen until that technology is actually beneficial. Solar and Nuclear have made major strides for producing power. Hydrogen power has potential but still a ways out. Wind I believe was forced and needs an industry overhaul.

Please stop singing China's praises. Sure they can put a building up fast. Because they don't care about construction materials. Do you know how many empty cities China has? Fully built copies of American and European cities that no one lives in.

You've got to give it to the Hindu and Buddhist people. No matter how easy their beliefs are to debunk, no matter how ripe their beliefs are for parody and no matter how obviously false their religions are. They sure know how to build statues.
