I noticed you were using the webbing mast steps to go aloft. How do you like it? Would you recommend it? If so, what brand is it? I use the ATN mastclimber but it takes a huge toll on upper body/arms.
@knotvanilla78082 жыл бұрын
We have the Mast Mate climber. We would recommend it for sure. We use our Spinnaker line as our safety line with a boatsun chair. The person handling the safety line will help keep tension on the line and assist with climbing. Nit that you "need" it. But it does save some upper body tiredness. Allows you more time to work without wearing yourself out. Also keeps the straps from hurting your feet and helps any foot fatigue if you are at one place for a while.

Good luck with your journey. I just brought a ketch down from Maryland and empathize with your having to repair things! When I bought my first boat I thought I would be doing nothing but sailing, entertaining friends, having adult beverages, etc. Now however I have exciting things to do such as wiring, epoxy repairs, gel coat touch ups, and many other such fun things. Thanks for another fun episode. Fair winds!
