It would be a smart idea
@MarcelinoGonzalez-ds2wb10 минут бұрын
Well, originally the last volume was gonna be Mandel catalogue volume 6.66 (that’s how it’s called according to some wiki pages) However, I heard that the end wasn’t going to be 6 volumes, their would be more volumes but I believe less than 10. Edit: Volume 7 would not be called volume 7.77

I feel like this is starting to do a whole lotta nothing and becoming too arthousey and blazay there's no tension there's no anxiety there's no thrill. Like the first two videos just...eh nothing.
@brunob456616 минут бұрын
honestly i stopped liking the series. the first two volumes were phenomenal and then they just started adding random stuff.. like do they expect me to watch tons of youtube content explaining whats going on? because thats not how its supposed to work. also they arent doing anything to drag the viewer into the story, theres nothing that makes it interesting anymore... most volumes are just some random collection of videos that arent connected together and then something scary happens in the end. i understand its a mystery, its their style and its supposed to be like that but atleast make more things happen for the viewer to be interested in, make me want to find out whats going on. so far i dont really care about the story because theres nothing actually happening in the videos... just think about it, how much screen time was actually something eye catching?

idk y'all. maybe it's time we call it digital horror? ever seen Inland Empire? digital video's inability to distinguish between very similar colors gives it a very eerie and artifacty look, such as things moving in the shadows having slight boxes around them etc. i honestly dont think this would be as effective without the digital artifacting as it gives your mind more to "work with" than just an empty black void with a smooth blur

I can recognize and appreciate the amount of effort that went into this episode, but it just felt really disappointing to me. My biggest issue is the complete abandonment of the analogue part of analogue horror. There is no framing device at all, i.e. there is no way of looking at this video and considering it to be in-universe analogue media, except for the opening and the short ad segment. The production felt low effort, with every shot being a motionless camera angle, with atrocious lighting throughout. There are only so many times you can slowly walk out of the darkness and into the light before I get bored, and that's exactly what happened. The lack of proper sound design meant I was waiting in silence for a guy to walk around an empty house with no tension at all. When you abandon any in-universe framing device, there's no longer any excuse for your audio to be silent. It comes across to me as lazy. The story is fine, a few grammatical errors and such in the script, but I haven't dived deep into the lore like a lot of people, so feeling like I don't know the characters is my fault. However, in telling the story there are many shots, and even full scenes, that don't communicate anything new to the viewer and could easily be cut to improve the pace of the video. The claymation segments were easily the best parts of the video, with much more effort put into them. Overall, it's really not that bad. I just wish I had been scared by something. The horror of this episode is just a re-tread of the same stuff that was in the past four episodes. I knew what was coming at each step, and seeing it up close took away what little mystery it had left. It wasn't scary to me at all, which is the biggest shame, in my opinion.

@MJUhere210636 минут бұрын
Personal take on the end, the Alternate that we see here looks identical to Adam, but probably not the current "Adam" we have, they both have completely different forms, as well with the fact that this Volume takes back when baby Adam just died/got kidnapped, so no one would've known how he would look like when a grown up or either is when he IS a grown up (2007-2009), this takes place back in 1992, either the alternates already planned on what he would look like or just insanely good at guesing.
@MarcelinoGonzalez-ds2wb8 минут бұрын
If I recall correctly, it’s Gabriel acting as Adam and not adams alternate mimicking him when he is more mature.
