In toku, toys are the bread and butter of the frenchises. Old toku was less toy intensive, it was toy intensive but not as much as today's toku is. Bandai and other toy companies and the toku studios often ruin the story to sell more and more toys to the consumers and that's also includes all the unnecessary stuff aside of general stuff a show advertises. I mean stuff from movies and specials that are usually made from older assets and show how uncreative and blatent any toy company can be towards the fans to tell "you like what are you watching then buy this new toy" obviously it's a fans choice but most do but that stuff sooner or later because they are fans and to support their favourite franchise they can buy that. But, i don't think that true, a shows or franchises lifespan depends on its profitability and to keep the show going the fans can't buy everything they see and this might make them hate that show because a very toy intensive frenchises can put the fans off after a time.

We need new suits not toys

When people ask me what I think the best Ultraman episodes are; I give them two answers. 1. The Forbidden Words (1967): It is just such a classic, a perfect story with a perfect villain. Mefilas is my favourite Ultraman villain and his dynamic with the humans and Ultraman is so interesting because of his refusal to act out of violence. And that is what makes Mefilas so insidious, because he offers everything you could ever want in exchange for selling out Earth. This is made all the more interesting and 1000x better in my opinion when you take into account the Christian allegory of the episode. Mefilas is very much meant to be the devil, Satan. A master of lies who uses deceit to get what he wants, and the only way to beat him is to refuse him and to stand strong in the conviction of good. And Ultraman is a Christ like figure who stands up to Mefilas and drives him away. The dual God-Human nature of Jesus is very similar to the dual Alien-Human nature of Shin Hayata, who even says so in the episode. Just a phenomenal episode. 2. Words from the Heart - Final Trilogy III - (2007): Mebius's finale is the perfect finale, and it feels not just like a culimination of everything in the series, but also the Showa Ultraman shows as well. Everyone gets back together and works to save the day. It is such an emotional ride and I love everything about it. Mebius Phoenix Brave is my favourite transformation, which is fitting since Mebius is my favourite Ultra. And now that Captain Sakomizu has left our world for the Land of Light, I tear up every time Zoffy calls out to him and asks for his strength. It is such a well done episode, with a heartfelt farewell between GUYS and Mirai. The theme song is also my favourite of any Ultraman show, so when the chorus is about to start as Zoffy, Hikari and Mebius fly back to M78 it hits me right in the chest.

Urm... Ultraman Powered is worse than this. Ultraseven X is intended for older audiences, not kids, I have seen the show, and it was good. Although Ultraseven X doesn't get a lot of screen time at least the fights are not slow.

If anyone want to try watching Ultraseven X, watch Ultraman Nexus first

Ultraman: The Ultimate Hero is in my opinion a lot worse than Seven X, simply because its just so low energy and the fights suck. Say what you want about the fights in Seven X. They may be short, but at least they aren't just light shoving and occasional beam attacks. Seven X's story and setting are also WAY more interesting, even if each episode is basically just an alien serial killer plot with a different coat of paint. Also, the ending of Seven X is pretty great with Jin and Elea finally resolving their whole thing, and Dan and Anne finally getting some peace together for the first time.

As a person who also genuinely enjoys music, both song and just soundtracks, this was one of my favorite episodes as well. I was so excited for the full soundtrack used for the episode to come out. It took a while but listening to it brought nothing but joy to my ears.
