Easy fix. Everything was connecting except Carplay. Factory reset and boom it worked. Thanks. 2022 accord sport hybrid.

Recently bought a 2018 Honda Accord EX and really liked the apple CarPlay in it. Well today at work when I was in my car for lunch CarPlay kept freezing up and giving me that “smartphone utils not responding” message. So hopefully this helps fix it
