What a nice video just came across this today 2025. I came out at 31 years old was not easy for me. 31 years mentally destroyed me being in the closet. and very depressed. I have moved on since then. it was a tough road.

I sometimes low-key envy people who have such level of selfishness and impudence and can find reasons to blame everyone around themselves and make everything about themselves. P.S. Michael I am a clergy in an old Catholic Church that is LGBTQ affirming and I just want to say one thing God don’t make no junk! that was told to me when I was in high school by my youth pastor who probably knew I was gay before I knew I was gay she told me, Jeff, you were created exactly as you were to be exactly as God intended you to be Don’t let anybody tell you different. You’re child of God don’t give up your faith there are a lot of people who misinterpret and sometimes you can’t blame people if they’re taught incorrectly, but God is a love of comp, passion, understanding unconditional love gratitude don’t forget gratitude we always grateful for what you have Every day when you wake up, you should be grateful because that means your mission in life is not completed and you have many things that you will accomplish in your life and I have no doubt you’ll be successful that you’re an amazing individual. Keep doing what you’re doing. Keep writing, that’s one of your gifts. Here’s what I would say to you. I’m very famous, psychic and medium Mr. James Von Praagh once said, other peoples thoughts are none of your business. You just keep on being who you are keep being grateful, keep on unconditionally, loving other human beings, because at the end of the day we’re all the same don’t let others define you by who you sleep with, you’re more than that much more than that.

Sorry that your Mom doesn't want a gay son. I am very sorry that she said that to you. Your adopted children "wouldn't be the same" as your children with a woman! Won't discuss it - that's pretty selfish of your Mom. But -she is a product of her time and region - so I guess you could cut her some slack for that. Internalized homophobia is the original "domestic terrorist;" it nearly killed me. One of my closest gay friends came to understand himself at age 36, having sex with another man at age 37. He was from a small Texas town and a great guy - and I feel so sorry for him denying himself for so long. But he married a great guy, and they adopted a son who just graduated with honors from Oregon! I hope that you find the right man; you both will be so lucky. You seem like a great guy- best wishes to you for a happy and productive life! Your path has been much more difficult than mine - I've been so lucky. Only have one partner (since 1991) and husband (since 2004 - Canada). He is too great a guy for me [I don't deserve him], but we love each other like crazy!
