Mom & I had to go through this town to get to Minnedosa. (Neepawa wasn’t much better than Minnedosa.) Like 1989-til mom passed away 1998. After having put loads of work & $ into the old stone house in town. It’s really well known. The old Burgess house. Not gonna give the address. She did such a great/awesome job that a Museum called us to ask if she’d sell it to turn it into a museum. Mom said: “Sorry, but no.” Wouldn’t wanna repeat that story. Left Minnedosa heartbroken without mom. But it was her HUGE dream to fix it up & live the rest of her life there. And that…she did, but it wasn’t long enough for her. She’d stated she got ripped off. Cancer took her life! End of story.

I have seen some huge Timber wolves on way to, and coming from work at one of hydro electric dams built within the last couple of decades. I knew they could get big, but had no idea how big. I thought I seen a young moose from a distance, but it turned out to be a huge grey timber wolf. These are not the animals you want to run into on these northern highways. Most times they will run..."
