5:10 in game: shoot him 10 times to disable the shields and another 6 to kill him. Cutscenes: just one shot will do, this isn’t a video game it isn’t like they have shields or powerups

Jul was hyped to be this big bad elite warrior/general. Then he goes and folds like a lawn chair to a dollar store spartan with a combat knife… in a fucking cut scene. What a waste.

I wanna see more of Thorn and Palmer fighting. They are badass.

After he went through all of this from Spartan Ops and books that he's the main antagonist, he then gets killed off in the first mission of Halo 5. What a waste!

at this point watching this video already made me wish for jul to have been given so much more than just the worse possible death in the halo that had no literal story...hell watching the elites dying was kinda sad to watch for me ngl...especially when the elites were very close with one another. Hell I would've preferred a elite side story at this point, both in arbiter's army and jul's remnant covenant. but nope, 343 decides to say, fuck it.

Jul mndama was the only character in 343 games that i was interested in aside from the didactic and librarian, he had a good story and badass, and they made books and Spartan ops about him and then killed him off in a stupid cutscene and even then it wasn’t a good scene, he went down way too easy. I think the 343 elites were bad and act too brutish, but jul was legit interesting

Imma be real Halsey trying to work with Jul Mdama in Halo 4 is some bullshit. She literally kidnaps kids to create super soldiers to fight insurrectionists, then sits on a high horse because some of those kids survived long enough to save humanity from the Covenant, then she's like "Hey Jul Mdama, I know you want to exterminate humanity but wanna help me find the Librarian?" Nah man she's lucky that Palmer only hit her shoulder, also the Didact and the Janus Key both kinda disappeared into the comics and booms after Halo 4, I don't actually know what happens to them both since I haven't been able to play through Infinite yet
