I’ve heard all these laundry list of benefits about it… I bought a quality brand at 250 mg. I took one and had a terrible experience/reaction made me feel very sick. 😢 would love to receive the benefits but not if it makes me feel like that again…

Gotta say that CBD was like instant anxiety relief when I put it under my tongue, but then I got a raging case allergic rhynitis in my nose from it a few days later. Was Sooo bummed! I tried 2 separate CBD preparations to rule out having got a bad batch, but no go. That was several yrs ago, so maybe I should try again, but "sensitivity is me.".

I just saw a video were they talked about adrenaline being highly inflammatory and cortisols job is to bring down adrenaline, making cortisol an anti inflammatory hormone which helps your system to deal with stress. Which makes cortisol very important. What is your thought on this?
@DrAndrewNeville
@DrAndrewNeville Күн бұрын
It’s wrong… Cortisol does not lower adrenaline. Whoever made those statements either don’t know biochemistry and physiology or their simplifying things too much. Cortisol is anti-inflammatory because it controls the immune system. All your anti-inflammatory steroid hormones are mimics of cortisol. Cortisol and adrenaline do have both direct and indirect relationships, and they are both important to be sure. Hope that helps! -Dr. Neville

@@DrAndrewNeville Thank you for the reply. There is a video from Dr. Robert Cywe (The Carb Addiction Doctor) who talks about cortisol resistance causing metabolic syndrome. Chronic stress causes constant adrenaline and because of this cortisol becomes worn out by trying to -Bring Adrenaline - down and eventually stops working.This is the reason Adrenaline to stays in our system causing inflammation. Kind of like insulin resistance.

I’ve tried many licorice supplements- mostly to soothe my esophagitis, but without much success. Recently, I had a bad relapse of adrenal fatigue after getting carried away with fasting and stressing my body. Two weeks went by with little to no improvement. I suddenly developed an insatiable craving for Good ‘n Plenty, the licorice candy, and I couldn’t get enough! I’ve eaten an embarrassing amount of it in the past week, but today I noticed that my adrenal fatigue is gone! I’m not saying licorice candy is healthy, but your body knows what it needs!

Anyway of knowing how many of these people are using endocrine disrupting chemicals? Or over using them ? Higher risk for housekeepers, maids , hairdressers, nail techs , pest control specialists? I ask this , because after being a housekeeper for 15 consecutive years my adrenals are a complete mess. My father who remembers playing in a field, right next to one that was getting sprayed from an airplane as a child now has Parkinson’s. & if that’s the case , why can’t we just discontinue use of toxic chemicals & get heavily detoxed ?

Feel like I've been doing this forever. Couple decades of research and experimentation, ive tried and studied herbs, nutrition, TCM. Ive coached others on how to heal from this and that...sort of a Practitioner, heal thyself kind of thing. But, consistency is key. That. , and some unhelpful behaviors have really extended my journey. Now for 2 years, ive started over, step by step. Have been surprised and yes, frightened, by the dips. Had a couple quite serious setbacks lately that had me unable to leave home and dizzy and in tears. I really want to know WHY, while in this long recovery, i cannot push? Is it just a decision? Yes and no. I overfunctioned for so, so long and i simply cannot, or will not. Would love to have more than 2 days of a given week feeling basically *normal*. Its still pretty tough. I am doing it on my own tho. 🙏🏾💫💪🏾✨️

Ascorbate or ascorbic acid,, isnt the same thing as whole food vit C. Ascorbate dosent resolve scurvy . Sugar competes with vit. C for absorbtion. How many processed foods are The vit. C complex also has tyrosine(an amino acid), rutin(a flavanoid), copper, and ascorbate. If you buy a car its good to have the shell, the engine, tires, and a steering wheel (not my analogy it came from Morley Robbins ).

@@DrAndrewNeville Ok thank you. I will start with an Adrenal complex for the first month and then maybe move on to the reiki mushroom. I think I would benefit from a methylated iron supplement as well. I had my blood work a few months ago which shows my Ferritin is very low at 9. The range says 16-232. The Dr told me Ferritin is usually low when there’s inflammation in the body, which I know I have a lot of inflammation. I’m wondering if I can just continue with my diet which includes a lot of grass fed meat and beef liver every day and see if that improves it?

Wow 🤯!! New subber here!! I have been buying Celtic grey and Redmonds real salt for over two years now. I have been suffering from long Covid for over 3 years. I am just finding out recently that the continuation of long Covid could be adrenal fatigue. I’ve known for a long time that I have adrenal fatigue, I just never knew how to go about fixing it. I have been implementing pro metabolic eating throughout the day to regulate my blood sugar. I need to start going to bed earlier too, that’s a big thing for me. I take a little Celtic salt every time I drink some water. Learned that from Barbara O’Neil! ❤ My only question would be, would it then be safe to supplement very slowly with Lugol’s Iodine?? I have heard that if you have hyperthyroidism you shouldn’t take Iodine?? But doesn’t everyone need Iodine?! I’ve had my Thyroid tested multiple times and they always say it’s “normal”, but something ain’t normal. Thank you so much and I look forward to watching more of your videos! 🙌🏻❤️

Holy SHIT!!!! All this time, all these symptoms, diagnosis of Eosinophilic Asthma, severe congestion, chronic VERY productive cough, coughing up and blowing out mucus all day long… Long Covid for over 3 years and adrenal fatigue could be the culprit??! 🤦🏻‍♀️ God I wish I had known this so long ago!! I’ve known that my adrenals are shot for many years now. I have cut out coffee and added sugar. I have started a pro metabolic way of eating to regulate blood sugar throughout the day. I will also start going to bed no later than 9 pm! I am only 43 and used to be very active hiking the White Mountains with my husband. I have not been able to do that since getting Covid April 2021. It’s now Sept 2024!!! 😑😔 I am able to take slow walks through a town forest where I live. Would it also be a good idea to supplement with an adrenal complex supplement that includes certain herbs for the adrenals? Also VERY SLOWLY adding Lugol’s Iodine?? Thank you SO much for this informative video!! ❤
