Once, a room mate I did so much for asked me if for chrysmus i was getting him “stupid presents from Archie McPhee’s (Seattle toy store) again?“ i can honestly say I told him “nope” and he never got anything from me again. I helped him move, gave him a place to stay, fed him, got him a date w a really cute guy who took him all over the city, and more things than I can count for this asshole who paid me back in total disrespect. My friends asked me why he treated me so badly if he was supposed to be my best friend. I had no answer. He became a real piece of shit out of the blue.

My son tried this once and his Nana went chicken/soft on me too 😂 he wasn’t ungrateful just unsupportive we were at a party he cried because he didn’t get a gift (only boy, only grandson, only child, only nephew) to this day so you get why. I was so embarrassed he was little to so I don’t need to be, his Nana talm bout “we need to make sure he got a gift to open before we go to parties etc.” Whaaaaaaat?! 👀 to this day I have no idea who the person was cosplaying as my momma but I made it clear I’ll get rid of everything and won’t be not one more present if he can’t be happy for people the same way they’re happy for him when he opens his fifty-leven gifts on his bday/christmas. He’s 13 now hasn’t pulled that again 💓

I feel this so much, my daughter that’s in 5th grade I got her one for one reason only her bus driver has let her off and with strangers on more than one occasion where she was driving around in cars with people she did not know trying to find where she lived, and thank god good ppl found her those times and got her to me but her choices had me concerned (I said I would of rather her walked alone than asked a stranger for a ride) so every situation should be taken into account. They have accounts where it can only be for emergency and that’s wut we got her. Gizmo type thing.

it’s the little girl only that they made this about even though the screen mostly focuses on the older boy for the majority of the video but it’s very understandable to think it’s about the boy!! i think just because of the way the girl faked crying with a board game in her hand and the comment the mother made on her crying shows it was the daughter acting ungrateful
