I am a black 54 year old gay man and when I was a kid and teen in the 70s and 80s it was taboo to come out, It's still a challenge nowadays but it is easier. I can relate to several aspects of your story, crying yourself to sleep, feeling like you're going to hell, it's hard. I went through all of that but I admire you coming out at such a young age and I am happy you have lots of support. Indeed, it does get better. God bless you my brother!
