I lost more than 1 hour with the same problem until I realized that there is a slot halfway up the screw where we should insert the SSD. You should not put the SSD in the enclosure and then screw. With the sdd disassembled, fit the ssd to the slot halfway up the screw first, then screw it to the case and try to close... The problem was solved for me.

The crazy thing is the instructions don’t mention that, instead they tell you to insert the drive tilted to the left side and then it locks in place on the right side

You have to convert your drive from an MBR to GPT using EaseUS Partition Master, its one of the only softwares that will convert the drive to GPT without losing data

Ive heard you can also use Aioeme software
