Speaking with understanding.. what was that about Gooden not "living up to what he had"? I'm thinking that considering the injuries, and not withstanding His will to play? I'd say he overachieved his own career "path" by goin' up front! And if we were to ask his Wife if He made the right decision? That Hers would be the ultimate in opinions! I have heroic memories of His athletisism and when he "bowed & sold out" .. I realized that I had watched a shining example of what "willingness" to continue working hard, to provide for Ones family meant, and I was a Fan from then on! Merry Christmas! I enjoyed the show

I go to CVS for my prescriptions, and I've never noticed them! I guess I just take the same route through the store every time. You got some enjoyable and recognizable names there. Merry Christmas!

That Sky terrier is a cute card. I don't know if they're native to the United States. I'm glad you got such a varied selection of Hall-of-Famers. I remember when Mazeroski wept at his induction and said he was glad the Hall was recognizing the value of defense. You're right, same with the Wizard of Oz. This is the first time I ever saw a Topps Christmas package opened!

Boy were they picky with that Molitor rc with that 3.5! 6.5 grading points deducted due to what it nearly has perfect centering.

They didn’t make 5000 boxes. They broke a complete set. I think he said there were 66 boxes.

Had rolls of 1960s Topps cards right off the presses. Cut them up and mom eventually threw them out.

Not trying to be a wise guy, but I really hope you didn't pay much for these two boxes.., at best, and I'm being generous, you pulled $30. worth of cards from these two boxes.., probably could pick up all of them from $1. boxes at a card show for less than $20., I have to guess it's the thrill of the chase that makes people want to buy these boxes...
