The only way someone would have reused the wrapper would have been if you gave it up. Should have held on to it, it would have only went up in value for you.....sad moment but I still think you're one of the best here.

Those are actually 1979, but your pull of a Rose makes it all moot! Any Pete is a good Pete. I'm not sure if the 1951 pack was actually searched. Topps packaged the cards in different ways for those Doubles packs after they pulled the caramel out and repacked. It's certainly confusing.
