I am a Firefighter and Paramedic, the tools from leatherman and victorinox helped me so save a lot of people in dire situations, as a paramedic i always wear the raptor and the signal on me but i searched for a leatherman for me as a firefighter and i think i found here the RX. Thank you very much.

"No one cares that you're from Europe and use metric." LMAO On a serious note. Great video. I love all SAK content, have had them for 30 years. Consistently the best EDC item I carry. Current flavor is a Tinker. Have a great day.

this has become my EDC knife for work days. Don't have to mess with sharpening and the bit driver works surprisingly well and can save you a trip out to the truck. It's also one of the most comfortable grips of any of the knifes I own. def worth $20

I Think the awl seems more dangerous than the saw, i live in a country with restrictive laws, and am not at all sure I am safe from fines or other leagal consequenses, carrying this tool. I do own one, but at the end of the day, it is up to the judge, and the police.

I've owned 2 of them since 2014 and used these tools almost everyday, Especially the knife and the toothpick. Both 2 got the same issues: 1. the "dot" from the knife's compartment wore down through time making it dropped out. 2.The plastic parts were not as high quality as the metal components, they are easily to break, again, in the thinnest section in the knife's compartment. But for 40$ and over 5 years of intensive using, this Swisscard is still indispensable thing in my wallet.

i don't like the extra weight and the fact that it has another layer/is thicker... that's why i don't carry my charge tti most the time unless i will feel like i'll need for some reason. i don't wear it on my belt due to low amount of space, and the free p2 is a perfect weight and size/profile to clip to my pocket.. tho don't get me wrong, the p2 has issues, like that joke of a file and ruler, but for EDC, it's awesome and saved my ass multiple times. and as far a a saw?? idk about u, but i rarely need a saw for anything out in the world.. at least not one that small. i'll just baton thru it with my fixed bushcraft knifeif it's that small.. or use my swiss army knives saw..

basically it's like a free p2 made a baby with a charge tti/wave, right?

I will submit my review once I get mine and have a chance to test it. I was disappointed with the Gerber Arrmbar Cork, so I’m hoping that the CRKT (my favorite knife company) will work better that the Gerber design!

I have a small compass in my pouch so that rules out having a strong magnet in the same pouch. I have a loud whistle in there, a small firesteel, extra flat pen knife, small foldable magnifying glas, chopstick with some cotton in the cap and a small flashlight. I already EDC a small multitool, simple SAK, tick remover, hairpin, and some cash in my EDC pouch.

Heyo, great vid! Just picked one of these up to use at my job. I work in the UK (home of ridiculous knife laws) and in education which means that I can't bring knives into my workplace so to me this is the ideal multi tool for me :)

This is a beautifully crafted bit of kit. However as something that could be lost in the field I think its a bit expensive. I have one, though keep it at home and have the Supertool 300 for using at work which kind of defeats the object I suppose. 😂

The one that came back to me, after my dad passed, he'd broken it. The brass screw threaded section in the top half, that lets you screw the pen together, is press fitted tight in the stainless barrel but the barrel, there, was cracked in 2 places and the brass bit with the thread was able to move. Every time I pushed the button to retract the nib, the spring power was great enough that a gap opened up between the top and bottom bits of the barrel, every time. For years, I held it together with sellotape but I, recently fixed it with needle files, to roughen surfaces before using 2 stage epoxy. Now it doesn't budge. Either it's a fragile, weak point, of the pen or my dad was super heavy-handed (say, when screwing it together, or something like that). Anyway, be aware that these are quite expensive, for what they are, now and also that they have a lifetime guarantee, which I hear Fisher are good at honouring with replacements. I wanted to keep the same one, though, because I bought it for my dad in the 80's and he loved it (used to lie in bed testing upside down writing and used it to mark ceramic tiles, for before cutting, as well).

If the rx had a blunted or rounded tip on its blade it wpuld be viable. Otherwise seems like a gimmick. If I'm cutting a seatbelt or clothes I can't risk stabbing the victim if I'm stressed or they are moving.
