Ideal axial reduction is 1.0mm 2.0mm. You did a nice job rounding off sharp corners and maintaining two planes of facial reduction. I believe that some aspects of this prep are marginally substandard according to the 2024 CODA ADEX guidelines.

are you taking the initial putty impression directly in the patients mouth, or are you taking a quick alginate and pouring it up at the start of the procedure and then making the guide on the stone model? if you are doing it directly in the mouth, do the teeth need to be completely dry? Thanks

I really wish I didn't watch this. This just made my fear skyrocket into the stratosphere awaiting my own crown preps.

Honestly had I known this was being done I would’ve stopped them but of course I was numbed up I just assumed i was being cleaned.

This was done to my teeth before I even knew what was happening, now I don’t know if it can be reversed, I never went back for the crown, I was told they would crown one single tooth not the the entire mouth. So the single crown failed I had to end up getting the tooth extracted, and I never went back to get the rest done so I now have all these drill lines in each tooth and my teeth look horrible. I have more issues now than what initially started.

Forgot to apply sep media after first pour and packed it completely now will have to put for dewaxing what to do plz suggest
