are you taking the initial putty impression directly in the patients mouth, or are you taking a quick alginate and pouring it up at the start of the procedure and then making the guide on the stone model? if you are doing it directly in the mouth, do the teeth need to be completely dry? Thanks

sorry but u get a putty index for a sound tooth what if i had a badly destructed one i made post and core how can i get index or what technique i use ?

As I know, in this case a wax pattern is made for completing the destructed areas on malposed tooth, then silicone index is got from that completed pattern.

I'm wondering too because a lot of temporary cements contain eugenol which is prohibited for acrylics because it inhibits polymerization

@@Sunny-ld4nn There's a lot of BZ out there. You can buy non eugenol temp bond if you're concerned. Dycal is also a good temp cement, stronger than temp bond.
