Sadly, although many of the people who saw this and "get it" as the comments clearly indicate was happening...... there are those of us who got our hopes up only to try this technique out and go 4 for 4 in 6 minutes breaking every one that I touched.

Dont worry. The new Ford lines are just suppose to be cut off and have you replace the entire hose. Easy

DAMN! I'm sure glad I watched your video! Actually, I knew this trick to remove the vacuum line quick connects BUT, because I rarely need to remove quick connects and it had been a while, I had forgotten. DUMB! No excuses! Just forgot. Thanks for renewing the memory. I'll bet I don't forget again...maybe. Thanks again.

Now I am realizing I need to figure out which had white and black clips. Does it matter? Is it an idiot proof only one color fits?

JEESH! I too am an idiot. But now I'm a grateful idiot. The last line to remove from gas tank is now going to be a breeze. I am contemplating if to spray a cleaner first as dirt accumulated 225k miles. Thank you, thank you, thank you (because hitting the like button only works once).

When they are very difficult use a pair of needle nose vise grips. They work extremely well with the non movable leg on the flat portion oh the connector and movable leg applying pressure to the white movable clip. You will be impressed. I was

American Muscle has a goofy looking American Flag Skull emblem for the deck lid ☠️🇺🇲 They seem to always be on sale for under $20. I measured and had some all weather stickers made up to slap over the boomer skull.

On both the lap you spun and the other lap you showed of the same corner, you needed to get the car rotated a little more at the apex. You were in an on-throttle U/S that snapped to O/S. What are you running for front spring?
@pete_bruschi_racing
@pete_bruschi_racing 3 ай бұрын
I have the Hurst springs, 235 front, 830 rear. Also worth pointing out, that day was my first time on Falkens so I had some feeling out to do. Those were some free takeoffs that I discovered by the end of the week were way heat cycled out (I was the only one having to use tire warmers in June lol). I did take them to the cords but it definitely showed in the relative times that I was off my usual pace.

@@pete_bruschi_racing Maybe try putting a spring rubber in the front spring? It really helps the front end. The spring rubber will bring you up to about 275-300#, but it will really help the platform and getting the car turned earlier. Regardless of what a book will tell you, it does not add understeer. If anything, it reduces it. I've been on 170, 220, 275, 450 and presently on 500# front springs. I think a bit more front rate would help.
