One of my favourite songs sung by Art Garfunkel is April Comes She Will (sends shivers down my spine even after all these years ), and the 2nd will be For Emily Wherever I May Find Her

I don't think I've ever heard that song, and I absolutely love it. Such an amazing guitar piece, too; I may have to play it. Shame I can't sing well enough to do it justice, though.

message from Patricia Crawford: Kris is one true Christian and a great humanitarian.I grew up on some of his music...I saw his sex appeal in a Star Is Born, Convoy and Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore...but only in last 20 yrs or so have I grown to really hold both he and Willie close to my heart. These dark days make me more prayerful and thankful . Thank You Dear Lord for Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson.

An honest man of his word. Calls himself stubborn at times in his life, and I admire my friend for not backing down on his lyrics. As he has said, I took my time to write my lyrics. Yes, dear heart you have. And they will stand the test of time. Never again will we see the likes of one as uninhibited in verse as you. My Renaissance Man🌹

WAPE, the "Big Ape" in Jacksonville Florida was the best radio station in Florida. If the fans were begging for The Sound of Silence, it was probably the Big Ape that was playing it.

I became a fan of Charlie in my teens and always enjoyed his music. I went to see him in concert but the show was cancelled due too weather. I was a huge Skynyrd fan and Charlie impressed me how he honored his friend Ronnie Vanzant for years. That showed his character to me for the first time and he never always stood tue to his faith and his beliefs. I can't say enough about the man. He was one of my favorite artists that became one of my favorite human beings.

can't believe how backwards his opinion of what "evil" is. He says I can't believe anyone is born evil enough to drown kids in a bathtub. Well yeah, of course not. You have to have trauma and or serious mental health problems to get to that point. So his solution is the death penalty? Wow! He is actually arguing for the idea that people are born evil without realizing it. Fuck you Charlie. Stick with music dipshit.

Underrated. Voice of a generation. Small minded people thought that because he wasn’t writing the songs. His harmonies are incredible. People saying he shouldn’t be proud or he was being done a favor don’t understand music. Paul is a GENIUS but so is Art. Imagine hearing that you don’t write the songs for 60 yrs as if you made no contribution.

"The Death Penalty is not a deterrent.." I don't agree but let's say you're right. Yeah only because it's not done enough! They know they'll never get it and even if they do, it's 20-30 years later! And that's not a good argument anyways. That logic says, "Oh we shouldn't send people to prison for stealing because people continue stealing anyways." That's beside the point!

Barf! These are Terrible songs. How can you compare these to the solo songs of Paul Simon? Like: Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard, Late In The Evening, Mother And Child Reunion, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover, Still Crazy After All These Years, You Can Call Me Al, Loves Me Like A Rock, Graceland, Diamonds On The Souls of Her Shoes, Kodachrome, Slip Sliding Away and My Little Town (which Paul wrote specifically for Art) The best thing for Paul was breaking up with Art because he would never have liked the above songs and would have given Paul a hard time about recording them. 😢
