I became a fan of Charlie in my teens and always enjoyed his music. I went to see him in concert but the show was cancelled due too weather. I was a huge Skynyrd fan and Charlie impressed me how he honored his friend Ronnie Vanzant for years. That showed his character to me for the first time and he never always stood tue to his faith and his beliefs. I can't say enough about the man. He was one of my favorite artists that became one of my favorite human beings.

Underrated. Voice of a generation. Small minded people thought that because he wasn’t writing the songs. His harmonies are incredible. People saying he shouldn’t be proud or he was being done a favor don’t understand music. Paul is a GENIUS but so is Art. Like: Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard, Late In The Evening, Mother And Child Reunion, 50 Ways To Leave Your Lover, Still Crazy After All These Years, You Can Call Me Al, Loves Me Like A Rock, Graceland, Diamonds On The Souls of Her Shoes, Kodachrome, Slip Sliding Away and My Little Town (which Paul wrote specifically for Art) The best thing for Paul was breaking up with Art because he would never have liked the above songs and would have given Paul a hard time about recording them. 😢
