This is not spirea vanhouttei,wrong leaf, wrong flower. I think this is birch leaf spirea=spirea betulifolia.

I see the paper goes to the bottom of stems. How do you put this in a bucket of water if it does not go to the client right away?

I love this style you did such an amazing job! I’m curious though how would someone keep it at home? Would they have to put it in a vase or do wrap it in a water bag

Hi! I’m loving all your tips. Do you have any videos or tips of how to add that water bag you have on the stems for them to last while they aren’t in a vase yet? How long can they stay this wat before opening to set up in a vase? 24hrs?

Thank you for the great video! Can you share more details in the spiral method? And what does cutting stems with 1:1 proportion mean? Thanks! Love from Indonesia.
@shekilsjuly
@shekilsjuly 11 ай бұрын
Hi dear! Thank you for watching! The spiral method is basically adding all the stems at an angle, in the same direction. As a right hander, I hold the bouquet with my left hand and add flowers to it with my right hand. The flowers are added away from my left hand, so I am not restricted by the length of my left arm. The flower head is added on the top left, end of stem pointing bottom right. 1:1 proportion means the binding point should be the middle point when you are trimming the stems. Hope this helps! We will be having another tutorial about tips to master the spiral technique soon, hope you continue to follow us :)

Beautiful bouquet! It just doesn't show the actual spiraling, do you go counterclockwise or clockwise or does it not really matter?
@shekilsjuly
@shekilsjuly 11 ай бұрын
HI dear, thank you for your kind words! You should aim to add AWAY from the hand holding the bouquet. So, if you are right handed like me, hold the bouquet with your left hand and add the flowers so that the bloom is on the top left and the end of the stem is pointing bottom right :) We will be uploading a new video all about mastering the spiral technique soon! Hope you keep following us and thank you once again!

Hi Terra! Just wanted to leave you guys a comment to say that your work is amazing! I recently found my passion for floristry, by finding a balance between my love for botany and art and your vlogs are perfect for me to envision and learn about what the industry and what working days will be like. I wish I lived in Singapore so I could attend your classes and learn so much more from your studio. But watching your videos inspire me and give me the encouragement I need to take my dream seriously. So please keep making more!! Much love and flower magic for you and your team 🌼💛✨

hi, learn from your beautiful work. I see you didn't use water bag or wet cotton for your flower bouquet. I believe the water bag wrap may be will change the look of the flower from spread wider. Any tips to ensure flower can last longer without water after customer has collected their flower?
