Hi dear! Thank you for watching! The spiral method is basically adding all the stems at an angle, in the same direction. As a right hander, I hold the bouquet with my left hand and add flowers to it with my right hand. The flowers are added away from my left hand, so I am not restricted by the length of my left arm. The flower head is added on the top left, end of stem pointing bottom right. 1:1 proportion means the binding point should be the middle point when you are trimming the stems. Hope this helps! HI dear, thank you for your kind words! You should aim to add AWAY from the hand holding the bouquet. So, if you are right handed like me, hold the bouquet with your left hand and add the flowers so that the bloom is on the top left and the end of the stem is pointing bottom right :) We will be uploading a new video all about mastering the spiral technique soon!
