For Kiswahili part unfortunately, Kenya ranks number 3 of the countries that watches my content , most of my viewers are from Germany, USA then Kenya , other countries watch too apart from this 3, so speaking in Swahili means I am being unfair to majority of my viewers, but thank you so much for your suggestions

I met a German man on a dating app and we have been together for 9 months. After traveling around with him thinking we were in a relationship, he now tells me for him it’s just a friendship and not a relationship. So ladies be on the lookout for such men, they just go on dating apps to exploit black women. I know this man is on the dating app again looking for his next victim. Maybe We should be putting their pictures up so we can protect other sisters from these predators.

This was real talk, everyone who comes to Germany needs to know this! I moved to Germany with a degree, but it wasn't long before I realised it was useless, so I did odd jobs and eventually started my own business. Still lots of work to pay the bills because Germany is expensive! Nights, weekends, my biggest work binge was 36 hours. Couldn't do that now! You mentioned cleaning the streets, this is actually a sought after job. It's stable and well-paid, and street cleaners are respected. Another thing is this: If someone gives you the opportunity of a traineeship (Ausbildung), and you don't mind earning not much for 2-3 years, take it! It's more valuable than a foreign degree. I wish I'd known that when I moved to Germany.

Thanks for your video. Here are some tips that might be helpful for people coming from Africa to Germany. 1. The German culture is based on rules and following the rules. In general, there are no short corners. And you have to know the rules. 2. We like documents and forms. Recently we have done some safety instructions at our company. All attendees hat to sign a form which was then signed by the instructor. At least, this is now done electronically. The signed documents are kept on record for public inspections. This is just one example of many. E.g., even people from English speaking African countries must prove their English language skills (TOEFL, ...) if they want to registered for an university study that is in English. 3. Administration is slow. This is partly due to the bureaucracy but also to the case that immigration has grown significantly but the head count in public administrations can take some time. In case you want to study in Germany: better get help. Many universities have international offices and FAQs for this. Also, plan well ahead (ie. a year before you want to start your study). Check also the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst, the non profit German Academic Exchange Service) 4. As a non EU-citizen you need a Visa and if you want to study you need a blocked account to make sure that you can pay for the cost of living. Now (2024) it is €11,904 per year. That is not much but should be sufficient to live in Germany in many cities. Note that the costs of living in big cities (Munich, Hamburg, Berlin) are much higher than smaller ones. Note further that you have to advance the costs. 5. Many students work part time to pay for their cost of living. However, applying for a work permit takes time. 6. Work culture: Germans work on average one of the least numbers of hours per year. However, if we work, we work. So don't expect much social interactions with your colleagues. 7. Get organized to make German friends: Join a social club etc. 8. The time from October to March might be tough. We have significantly less daylight. It is often cloudy and rainy. It can happen that you rarely see the sun for several weeks. 9. Germans are very direct. In general, there is no sugar-coating. If you need help, ask for it. If they say no, don't mind and ask somebody else. 10. Check out the channel of simple germany. Jen and Yvonne have an awesome channel.

If you quit, you must immediately inform the employment office. They will pay 65% of your former salary for a certain period, provided you have paid in for more than a year, and they will ALWAYS cover your social insurance. If you don't do this, then you owe the health insurance company money, which is at least €400 per month. The situation becomes problematic if you don't qualify for unemployment benefits or this system and you would actually have to leave the country. In that case, you would end up in debt.

@@Mercysm. On the other hand, I often hear from people who have recently come from more corrupt countries that they can't understand why we Germans make such a bad thing out of it. Many people told me that they think bribery makes life easier. I used to work with migrant children, which also included to help their parents with filling in form sheets, telling them where to go if they needed something, etc. The lack of opportunity to bribe authorities was often criticized by these people 😄 Many people didn't want to believe that it wasn't possible. They thought they just hadn't figured out how it worked here. I think that if you grew up in a corrupt system and never knew anything different, you can also see advantages in it. Also, officers have a stable job and while the pay might not be great (by German standards), it's good enough for them to not want to take the risk :) Not qualified to talk about Africa, but in some countries in Europe, bribery is a tradition and the state isn't really into actually fighting it as 1. they're on the take like everyone else and 2. the government would have to start paying their own employees a decent wage. But yeah, where there's bribery, it's usually rich businesspeople and lobby groups bribing officials for building permits and public contracts and even laws, so it's a VIP club not for ordinary citizens. 7:40 I've lived in Germany for almost all of my life, and I have never really seen the point of owning a car. In the cities I have lived in I could always get around on a bicycle, and for longer distances I am using the trains. 12:30 I would _strongly_ advise immigrants and expats against trying to bribe anyone in Germany! Bribery does happen in Germany, but it has to be very subtle and is usually limited to fields of business that new immigrants are unlikely to have access to (such as the construction industry and high finance). Officials at the levels immigrants and expats usually interact with would be risking their very comfortable jobs and careers if they accepted blatant bribes, so they are very unlikely to risk this. All that is likely going to happen is that the would-be briber gets into all sorts of legal troubles themselves.
@Mercysm.
@Mercysm. 8 күн бұрын
Your first point , yes there's really no need of owning a car in Germany, unless you live far in the village away from most things, but generally it's a waste of resources 😆 The second point, there's this German who is in a business field and was trying to evade taxes, he claimed the government tax 60% , I don't know how true that is, so on this particular day tax officers and the police came , he had been warned prior, 2 weeks later when those people were coming again, they were totally different people, not the ones he had build rapport with 😃😃 I think that's the best way to kill bribery

Don't give up on love. Everybody's story is different. Your case is not the first, sad though. Here in your country Kenya, I have heard of couples living together and one day the man wakes up and announces that he is getting married, to the surprise of many, a different woman, still in Kenya. The live-in girlfriend got to pack and leave. 😢. Others say just like the white guy though black, they use a girl and say they can't marry from that tribe. Even parents here are not different, I know of many that did not approve their children marrying a different tribes. That affects the relationship too. Your story is not an expectation and do not let the devil go to bed smiling. Let Satan know its not over yet, Jesus still working on you. Internet is not a bad place, you are using Internet to communicate with us, you probably starting your journey to Germany by Internet. In Kenya honestly speaking there's no day I ever got my forgotten bag😄😄 maybe they never land on the hands of good people, There's a day someone sent me a lot of money by mistake, he couldn't believe I sent it back to him and he gave me quarter of it as a thank you , and he told he's sure someone else wouldn't have returned the money 😃

@@Mercysm. They(*) are probably constantly anxious that a black person is hiding beneath their bed or something. (*) They used "Loki" as a user name, and Loki is genderfluid, so I am using "they/them" as pronouns.

I had a similar experience in Giessen and my purse containing everything including my money were brought back. Germany is the safest country i have been too. I even walk at 3am with no fear😙.

Only some people with no money problems drop in them in the streets, most people actually keep them to sell, but they are really sold at super affordable prices
