Great post! Unsolicited advice is lethal . As someone who's lived and worked abroad for over a decade I can say that I gave a deaf ear to hear says. I climbed up the ladder because I paid no attention to racism comments even though it's there. One huge mistake was not investing huge instead I was a giver 😢. If you're reading this pls invest in yourself. That job opportunity is not forever guaranteed And as an African learn to braid or do other jobs that can earn you extra money, this helped me a lot. It paid me more than my salary.

Of course is never going to be a bed of roses. You are in another continent, different from yours, almost everything is different. There will be struggles. First immersed yourself with their system and give yourself time and be patient. But don't forget why you are there and gradually work towards it. Some may take time while some quicker. Focus on your goals and have fun too😅 don't forget to have fun o before you die before your time.😂
