All compressors tell you they have oil in them but it’s best practice to dump it out and add the correct amount. How we have always done it. Get what you can in the compressor, add a little in the rest of the system and you’ll be good.

So what would you say is the correct amount for just installing the compressor?

Normally around 2-3 ounces in the compressor, and an ounce or so in your condenser and if you wanted you could pour a little into the a/c lines before attaching them.

Mike offers the sanden kits as an add on as well, you don’t need the whole kit just a few pieces to convert the original accessory drive to the new setup. The headers were a long time coming, lots of work to get those, should have a restock next month!

You need to utilize the stock wiring off the trans and do some wire splicing, if you join the Facebook group there are several guys who wired the GS6 to work, it’s different than the T56 wiring.

If you set realistic goals, the products offered by Mike at LSE90.com make this incredibly straight forward. We find ppl have projects come to a halt because they try to do too much at once, don’t drop $10,000 on a built engine, just find one that was running, swap the pan and install it. If you focus on simply completing the swap and worry about upgrades after, you’ll be fine.

N/a swaps we tell ppl to expect 25-30k between labor, a motor and trans, and all other parts.

What's the average turn around time

@@RodriguezSteve 8-10 weeks. We do the swaps on a case by case basis one at a time on the side, it’s not our main focus with the brand. Mike prefers selling parts and providing support over labor intensive swaps, Garrett normally handles the swaps with support from Mike.

With parts and labor expect something around 20-25k. We do offer the swaps for customers, you can email us if you’re interested. [email protected]
