Building a turbo ls3 e39. Haven’t got to the wiring yet some I’m sure canbus will be a nightmare… but what rear end did you use to run a 8 second quarter mile? Deciding if I should go with a e39 m5 rear or attempt to do a Ford 8.8 rear end swap.

I think the previous ad-hoc version of this build went 8s pretty consistently. Full interior, no cage, cobbled together electronics still in "beta", etc. Not downplaying the work here but 2.0 should be a much more holistic purpose-built approach and result. I guess if you regularly live in a world with 8s actual street cars (not "street cars") then this likely isn't that "insane" to you thanks hope that helps have a Blessed weekend and Merry Christmas 👌

I have question I’m LS swapping my e92 and I want to put a 4L60e trans in it can you use the stock bmw shifter? Or have to buy holly or other type of shifter.

You can reuse the stock shifter and cable but it may take some modifying of the linkage. Mike currently has 4l80 shifter linkage kits on the website but we don’t use the 60’s so we can’t confirm fitment on them yet. www.lse90.com
