I had to laugh when you griped about the centre cup holder; you missed that one that pops out on the right forward side of the car's hump. And never open the trunk that way: release the inside latch first to relax the pressure on the 2 buttresses over the trunk. Never close it by pushing on those delicate humps; they will dent. Just drop the lid form the appropriate height as you did for the front hood.

@ArtWorksL Besides fitment issues on ur led bulbs on ur fog light housing. Did it had any flickering issues or loss of light? Coming from dodge and it’s insane canbus sensitive system. I know led bulbs they flicker for headlights. And needs a decoder or if the led bulb is compatible to grand caravan. But what about fog lights? No flickering no loss of light? Is it on the safe side that we can put led bulbs in a fog lights, without the need of a decoder?

fog lights usually just plug in and work fine. Headlamps are different. Most of the time you do need either resistor or decoder or , if your model allows to, you can code the car to accept lower wattage bulbs(like HID). In some models light canbus system came from Mercedes

Your fog lights may be Day time running lights. There also may be coding or setting for them, that are set that way. You may need a professional scan tool for that

If you wanna do it the right way you need to pull a hole lighting unit down then you can replace it from the top and all you have to do is plug it all back in and pop it back in and you do that heat shield!!

I think I put it in one of my other videos about this car. These are LED bulbs with strobes. YOu can use it on almost any car and there is a way to play with speed of turn signals etc

Also those are not ballast. Ballast belongs to HID. Those are called external driver.

The biggest difference between the internal driver and external driver, is the external is for heat management and longevity, and it can withstand its own heat. While the led bulb can deal by the heatsink and the cooling fan, to pull away the heat. But nowadays with modern tech. We got better led bulbs that’s all in one, that’s more efficient and appropriate balance design. Like Lasfit - LA plus or Auxito - M3 for example.

Lasfit are crap, tested a lot of them. 50/50 failure rate in less than 6 month.

I know this was few years ago. But those COB led chips are the worse for automotive use and it’s not design for this. It was alot. Time ago. But with automotive grade led chips like CSP chips, ZES chips, LMP chips, Osram chips, CSP flip chips, and SMD led chips Way better led diodes that are small as the halogen coil filament. And it retains the same beam pattern as oem.

Cobb chips are not the worse. They are what they are in given design. Every chip has its own specification, some are better than others. Designs are different too. Mostly all these LED conversions are UNIVERSAL; the all do not work the same. Record your own video on this, so that I can spam-comment on it.

I know this was 5 years ago. But those are the worse perform 4 sided COB led bulbs u ever installed. Stay away from them. They don’t produce a proper light output and it’s not using the reflector. They maybe be brighter, but u will not see better farther down the road. A thin,narrow, two sided tint led chips of the led bulbs works way better than this. Try like Lasfit - LA plus, Auxito - M3, sylvania - SL.BX2 led bulbs. Either one of those will be brighter and retains the same beam pattern and perform much better than those horrible led bulbs.

Hi, thanks for the video! Can you please explain why it is a must to use 4 chip bulb for projector headlamps? 2 chip type won't do it? I have 2007 Auris.

Hello. It is not ' a must'. You can use 2-chip design as long as these 2 chips can cover 360 degrees(not perfect but recommended) of the back part of headlamp's housing with light. In this situation light will get through the projector lens properly and onto the surface(road). At that time 4-chip design was at close to that as could be acquired for a low price.

This was no name lights for future marketing and distributing. I don't think they make them anymore. Some newer bulbs that have even 2 chips perform just as well

I think, modification is better than buying some parts. Look for similar LED bulb kit or projector equivalent conversion.

There isn't any legal ECE/DOT/SAE headlight bulbs for halogen housings. Why? because the light pattern and intensity isn't controlled properly. AKA blinding other drivers..
