2006 Cadillac Escalade Headlights resto with LED conversion

this is about 2002-2006 Cadillac Escalade headlights. I tried restoring original lens and converted HID to LED. ONe of the alternative projects to any car that comes with HID headlights from the factory. Not much to describe here, but better watch yourself.

Fixing an Escalade on the trunk of a BMW. 🤘😝 Thanks for the vid. Helpful. 👍👍 I kind of want to replace the entire assembly R/L to LED, but don't want to spend the $400+ on a 229k mile Cadi ESV. But then again $100 for 1 Phillips D1R Low beam!!! Also, when it rains at night, I can't see sh*t!

Well, headlights of old cars get worn out in all different ways. it is also possible that reflective surface has suffered from overheating or burns. Lens is another factor to bad lighting. If you replace the whole headlamp, then you have more chances to keep it like new from the beginning or it can be modified with few new parts and make it more advanced. Unfortunately just putting in original light bulb, would not save it, especially, if there are other problems such as ignitors or ballast.

@@artworkslights hey thanks for the reply. What you say is true, overall big picture, it's better to up grade. I am learning the wiring for led/halo and the differences in choices of housing assembly. There's no doubt I will be able to see when driving and it will look better.

Unfortunately, I do not think there are any left of this model. but there should be alternatives of this.

By any chance do you have a model number for those or recommend any other bulbs?
