I am a wedding and portrait photographer. I have a Nikon Z 50 with 18-140mm, 35mm f/1.8, and 70-300mm F lenses and a Nikon Z5 Body. Now, what lens should I buy? 24-70mm f/2.8 or 85mm 1.8 S?

I use my credit card to pay my bills and then pay the balance in full when i get paid each month. I'm a sole trader so i needed a line of credit in case i have a slow week. I also get rewards for doing this. I asked for a low balance when i applied so i could not get into serious debt. It takes discipline but it works.

Thank you so much for this review. Ive been a Nikon camera user for about 12 years, starting with the D5100 and then transitioned to the D780 which I currently use. A couple of years ago I got the Sony ZV-1 specifically for vlogging and video, and Im absolutely over it. Back when I purchased it, the Z30 wasn't released so I was annoyed when it did release a few months after I got the Sony. Ive been really wanting to get back to Nikon and into the mirrorless category. Im leaning toward the Z30 because of its really compact size and ease. Ive heard the battery situation is really annoying, BUT the Sony battery situation with the ZV-1 is probably worse. The battery is tiny and I can only shoot for like 20 minutes before it's time to change out the battery. Anyway, this was really helpful as Im working through which camera to go with next.

So how long did it take for you to save a year’s salary? A year? Two years?
@babyboy1971Ай бұрын
I recently got a Nikon Zf and I'm looking to aquire a second backup body, that's affordable and takes my Z mount lenses. Honestly, I’m leaning towards the Nikon Z5, but with the recent price drops the Z6ii is not much more and is appealing also. Nearly everyone I've spoken to who actually owns a Z6ii (or Z5), LOVES it. I love my Zf, but I want something that will act as a more ergonomic and compact backup, with similar menus. I shoot portraits and headshots and an occasional family session or engagement. No events, sports or wildlife. I don't need speed, and I don’t plan on doing video with this backup. I played with a Z5 and a Z6ii in the camera store recently and they both felt really nimble and great to use. In use, I couldn’t really tell much difference between the Z5 and Z6ii. Both really nice. Would you recommend the Z5 or Z6ii as a backup to my Zf? If I get the Z5 I can afford more glass, but maybe the better body is a wiser choice? Are you still pleased with the Z5?

Great video. Little info on the f stop the first function of the F stop is controlling how much light reaches the sensor, besides shutterspeed and iso. A collateral effect is the focus zone but it also is influenced by distance between camera and subject and focal length

Great review and tips. The Nikon Z5 is an underrated camera for both photo and video. Amazing specs and price. Making great videos and capturing amazing photos doesn’t require the latest tech features, learn the basics and grow from there. 🫡

I have not "eaten out" in over a year. It's doable. Saves a TON of money!! I've always taken my lunch so that wasn't an issue. The two big things for me are Amazon and buying junk food when i go grocery shopping. 2024 was better than 2023, and I'm trying to get it to zero for 2025. A written budget is a must!! I use the free Every Dollar App

Not a negative comment, just want to inform you or you can also do more research about the topic. Plug in air fresheners and any traditional air freshener have toxic chemicals that are not good for your pets health or your own health. There is a lot of information on all the negative effects from using air fresheners. Just letting you know, you can do your own research. Oil diffuser or soy candles are an alternative way to control odor.

Here is a big chunk of whats in my contract, what do you think? The client(s) understand that due to the artistic nature of this photography service, that there is no guarantee that the client(s) will find 100% of the photographs artistically pleasing, which in such case will not entitle the client(s) to any discounts or refunds. The photographer will to the best of his ability deliver photographs that will be in his own judgment artistically pleasing. The client(s) understand that factors outside of the photographer’s control may occur that can affect the artistic look of the photographs such as weather conditions, time of day, event location, event rules, event lighting, participation of the subjects of photographs, and amount of time given to the photographer. The client(s) understand that there is no promised specific amount of finished photographs as the final quantity varies based on the length of time of the event and number of guests. For example a 2 hour event could yield 90 photographs and a 12 hour event could yield 540 however the amount could be higher or lower. The client(s) understand that no digital raw files (unedited photographs) are released, and only edited photographs that the photographer has judged worthy of being been seen are released.

My daughter and I have 3 medium large short haired dogs that shed a lot. I do most of the housework and honestly it's easier cleaning up after dogs than it is after my daughter. She's an almost hoarder and doesn't clean as she goes. It doesn't do any good to argue about it. So, on my days off, I drink my red bulls and get cracking with the endless housework 😮

1. Make your bed 2. Clean the dishes every night 3. Make it smell nice (most effective in the entryway btw) 4. Dust 5. Establish (and tidy up) fixed drop zones, for example by putting boxes there 6. Get rid of visual clutter and keep what you display minimal 7. Keep your floors clean. There you go

We make our bed after getting up BUT we have minimised what we have on the bed. We have a blanket each and a pillow each. And that’s it. No additional fancy blanket on top, no decorative pillows. Takes 20 seconds and makes sure we actually stick to it

My bed is comprised of a double duvet, the two pillows to fill the pilow cases supplied with the duvet cover as decor. I sleep with a v-shaped pillow. All my clothes are in a set of drawers and bedsite drawers. I have no more than 3 items on display in my bedroom. A plant to rejuvinate the air, an ornament given to my by my children and a bedsite lamp. I am on the way to change the house to being as minimalist as possible. Remove everything that I havent used in a year. Have as few items as possible on show. Tidy before going to bed.

Don't make your bed immediately after getting up, you need to let it air out a little, you can take a shower, eat breakfast etc then make the bed
@linatacke73934 ай бұрын
@@radhiadeedou8286My bed is always folded back. My pillows are not covered. Half the bed is not covered. There is air going into the mattress and the duvet. My bed is vacuumed every time the covers are changed. I am a housekeeper for a living.

I adopted the "clean sink before bed" philisophy a few months ago and it really does make a huge difference. You start the next day with a clean slate that's easier to *keep* clean, instead of fighting dishes and mess as soon as you wake up.

Same situation as you with third party flashes (Yongnuo). Lasted about a year so have invested in the SB700. Agree about the button release on the head. Why? What's the purpose? Sometimes camera companies don't seem to try out their own equipment! As you say, it's an 'investment', but hopefully it will last longer...
