I'm more opposed to her trying to do this without a liscense than the concept of incorporating weed into therapy. Maybe if she lowered the price to like $20 so it's really more of "I'll get high with you if you're lonely" and not "I'll be a high, unlicensed therapist for you while you're also high."

@@ebizfacts if you tell people what they want to hear, they'll follow you. Look at how successful Joel Olestin has become. He's made a fortune giving people that warm fuzzy feeling. It's unfortunate but some of us need someone else to tell us we are exactly where we need to be. Seriously, where else would we be? If things don't work out for you. The universe is not plotting against you. It just wasn't meant to be. Sometimes who we feel is the right person for us is not. Just choose to be happy and carry on. Don't rely on someone else for your happiness, you own that. I think people could be a lot happier if they'd just stop relying on someone else to tell them what they need to do in their lives.

This isn't freedom. Im sure he doesn't mind it, and im not demonizing this at all, but its not freedom. "The freedom to swing your fist ends at my nose," as the saying goes. You have no house, so the freedom to take a shower whenever you want, or have more than a suitcase full of stuff is nonexistent. The freedom to eat is determined by whether or not you can find preprepared food, which i imagine isn't very good on trains. The freedom to scream and flail around doesn't exist because you're always in public. The freedom to sleep whenever you want in your own bed doesn't exist. The freedom to relax and do nothing and plan nothing doesn't exist, because you're always on the move. And most importantly, you are never truly free because you are confined to the rails most of the time. Where you go and when is never, ever in your hands. I really wish people would stop glorifying being homeless.
@ebizfacts2 ай бұрын
I see your point, but if that's your definition of freedom then it sounds like it's only possible if you're quite rich and can afford to have everything available to you at all times. But even then there are trade offs. I can relate a bit to the guy in the video, as I spent several years living out of a backpack and traveling around the world. I rarely had more than $10k to my name during that time, but I never felt more free. And although I never had a home, I never considered myself homeless. That's a completely different thing.

Have you ever considered that your definition of REAL freedom is not something that someone else would agree on? He gets to have a solid income (according to where I live) and do what he likes doing without being anchored to one specific location. He said it himself, he wants a life of travel, so what is that if not the freedom he wanted? Some people genuinely enjoy challenge and the obstacles life throws at them on the daily, and happiness comes from triumphing over said challenges. Who are we to have any saying in what this guy wants in his life and how he goes about achieving it? (Minus the obvious that happiness and success should not come at the expense of others, but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how his lifestyle is negatively impacting anyone other than you) In my eyes, this guy succeeded, and will most likely continue to do this as long as he enjoys it/finds a reason in doing it.

@@ebizfacts "inspiring" isn't the same as "helpful." "Helpful" means useful in a practical way. This wasn't that.
