Looking back to these videos, thank you so much. I did my A levels back in 2023 and with your videos I managed to go From D in mocks to B in actual A levels. These videos were massive help to revise last minute prior to exam… just wanted to say big thanks, you’re the best brother! ❤

Would your paragraph structure be different for a different 10 or 12 marker prompt? For example you can be asked to 'assess the importance', 'assess the likely value', 'assess the consequences' and 'assess the likely reasons'. All these seem to prompt a different paragraph structure so I question the generalisability of the exam structure you show.

They can all be balanced, so the structure is the same in terms of the number of paragraphs. Importance: Is important, However isn't important Impact: Positive impact, However negative impact Consequences: Positive consequence, However negative consequence

Yep - it's available on the Edexcel website. It's on the exam board. I will be doing a video but not until nearer the time. Would you like a bit of a "here's what you should be looking into" video in the new year?

Just writing this comment as a thank you - I watched your video and it was the only one that explained the structure of the required answers with such clarity - it's not the typical "BLT, off you go" sort of thing - I got one of my test results back today and I had full marks on all the questions but a 2 marker 😆I still think cats are better than dogs, though - dogs are loud and needy and they are all the same, as opposed to cats, which are quiet and peaceful and every cat is unique!

I have a dog, and yeah he is needy, but I like the fact he's interested in me and I enjoy the peace of going on a dog walk. Many cats can be quite standoffish, and they scratch furniture, which I'm not here for. But, if you prefer cats, that's your choice and I respect it

That question won't exist. Assess two... is the structure of an 8 mark question. So you'd do two PEACH paragraphs. 10/12 would be Assess the impact/importance/value or something like that.

ive decided to switch subject/career path to business instead of physics and chem. i havent studied business since 7th grade...i will be entering grade 12 and if everything goes well i will be doing my unit 1 and unit 2 exam in oct/nov maybe even in jan series if possible. id like to know if you can give me resources or link for new students taking ial edexcel business unit 1 and 2 and whether im making the right decision changing late and if business is really hard or just takes common sense on real life scenario

There are some differences between this content and the IAL but they're similar enough. There have been plenty of students who have used these videos to prepare for the IAL. My advice would be to look at as many past papers as possible (there are loads out there) - if you come across a question you can't answer, revise that topic.
