Padon acted like a complete intellectual with his anecdote of "The World War 1 faux pa" but that is general knowledge I learned at 13. A Severed Clean slate?

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like there was a pomegranate in the fruit basket Milkshake brings, and I also had alarm bells going off when Mark called his sister "Persephone", who was supposed to be trapped in hell (until Demeter intervened) because she ate seven pomegranate seeds.

I think Gemma was already severed before mark, that’s why lumon has her, think about the lengths cobell went through to get that chip, and that’s why they need mark for cold harbor.

Cold harbor is an academic institute that conducts medical science research (they produce great reviews!) back in the day they were the headquarters of eugenics ‘science’ (terribly conducted science) I doubt there’s a connection here lol but I’m a scientist and of course that is all I can think of whenever they mention col harbor

Here is my guess. I bet that Helena is already integrated. That is why Daddy calls her a fettid moppet. They integrated her after the gala to prevent her from hurting herself or messing up company plans. Maybe Cobelle knows that this was done. So she has both family loyalty and the feels for Mark. The show leaves gaps with other coworkers and a whole episode of innie aftermath to hide such a big thing happened, now we are trying to pick which one it is, but it is both.

“Those are her clothes and her jewellery and us approximately her race and body shape. That’s definitely her” he said looking at “her” through blurry tear-filled eyes, case closed. Ignore the grief and a history teacher not knowing the difference between dead and brain dead and the available options other than OTC. Probably not elephant or beehive or goldfish but wasn’t there some other option that might make a not dead person appear dead? And ignore the context clues, it’s case closed and definitely cloning and rapid-aging a clone to full adulthood because identification was complete by someone who probably just accepted whatever was presented then going into full on freak out mode.

Maybe Petey was splitting while wearing a red and blue robe wit Fred being outtie and blue representing the innie and the whole Kier cult thing - innie and outtie separate but both there together, red then blue then red then blue. Green seems to represent control, being controlled or controlling in a less than pleasant manner like a sickness. See also green floors and dividers in MDR.

My Theory: Miss Huang is Mark’s daughter. During the ball game, Mark has a flashback to the photograph of Gemma. The next scene: they are staring back-n-forth, neither of them recognizing their real relationship, and Miss Huang remarks that she is not his friend. Mark obviously not recognizing her either, corrects himself.😮

Hi, I don't know if you've watched the old TV show Dollhouse, but it seems that the concept of 'Innies" was borrowed from it. The actress that plays Gemma has also been in Dollhouse. I see a lot of parallels between the shows.

I have a feeling that Lumon is also intertwined with the occult or alchemy (the search for the elixir of life) somehow. The dancers, the paintings, baby goats, statues, etc. Kier Eagan's life time coincides with the rise of occultism and industrialism in America.

I mean it’s the same producers from Lost and if you’ve seen that you could understand why there’s so many good layups but not enough follow throughs. Also they probably couldn’t bring in victors sister just because the actor might’ve looked older then when we first saw her 🤷🏽‍♀️ love your channel ❤

its a strange show. Seems like they keep telling us "much ado about nothing", and really not explaining anything. But I like it. At least its not graphically violent and no cannibalism, like most of the stuff on television these days....well for the most part. Except that one time Dylan got hungry, but he was biting for a good cause. He wanted to see his kids. So its all good.

A newspaper with visibly censored parts makes no sense. Why not print the whole page with changed information? Or make a completely new one, given that innies have no point of reference. Is there ANY inner logic or is it just for viewers' sake?

whatif ricken (rick n) is severed but he is his usual self inside severence and severed outside of it ??!?! all innies have names like rick n , dylan g etc. so it makes sense that the ricken we see outside is actually rick's innie. and ricken will have a higher role to play in lumon and maybe even be an eagen. ricken is said to have parents that come from old money. he may even be helena's sibling for all we know. also, maybe ricken's job is to spread / normalise kier's ideas through books and make it more appealing to the general public. if he writes self help books like this without explicitly stating kier, then there is a chance that more people will accept it. this would give lumon a better chance at legalising severance in the future and have better control of the general population.

Milchick has a deeper story as well. The prequel book “the Lexington letter” that complements Severence shows a letter being written by “Jim Milchick”, whereas our Milchick says his name is Seth. There’s more family lineage tied to Lumon than just Eagen…

The severance of the soul (emotional, willful self ) and the human spirit will not prevail we are watching the battle between these two forces of the human condition are already in a constant state of flux and sometimes one overpowers the other. I'm sorry, but how exactly is Dario, to whom you refer asn“the other refiner who barely speaks English" very obviously from a very poor country? What clues are telling you this? He's clearly from Italy. Last time I checked, Italy hasn't been widely renowned for poverty over the last few thousand years. We may not know what time period Dario is from (pre-elevators maybe? Pre glass-engraving technology, hence his wooden head statue), but he deserves just as much consideration as having duality - let alone an identity - as the others. He is legit a MDR Refider character in the show. Just like every other character who has a seat in that room. Theories aside, this wildly unfair and inaccurate judgment of him is stated as fact. Immediate unsubscribe and unlike - which pains me, because I so so so love your content. This is just inexcusable. And solidified when you double-down on it.

dario literally said it at 00:13:52 on the first episode "We were very poor." On top of that, Italy was poor at different points from 1850 up to some point in the middle of the latter half of the twentieth century. Super weird comment that's wrong at every turn.
