Where is the bike now?

I used to own a 500H2 that was ported polished, higher compression, bigger carbs and expansion chamber pipes, it was the scariest thing to ride when it came onto the pipes, this thing I couldn't even imagine.

There is nothing that sounds better when a 2 stroke comes on pipe and takes off like a scolded cat and just love the castrol r smell.

The sound,I mean how great is that.The bodywork is so great on those and still timeless.

I have a blue one. I have 3 Kawasaki Z1r Turbo, one is sleeved to 1428cid. X15 cams, falicon slotted sprockets. Mark 2 16-32 welded crank. Shim under buckets, simpson gears. 77 1st gear, 135 2nd 165 3rd gear at 22k RPM.

I would think there is a lot left. A Lance Gamma RG500 Will make 130+hp.. you might consider changing those metal capped air filters. Pressure waves like to bounce back off the metal and mess with tunning

When i was 16 i had a 175 Kawasaki dirt bike, A friend had a Kawasaki 500 triple. We traded for a day. I was IMPRESSED !. Couldn't keep the front wheel down. I weighed 98 lbs. The sound from under the fuel tank when you would blast her, was the wildest sound I ever heard back then. I was like it was going to suck my balz off ! Awesome experience !

Sounds like one or more cylinders are not functioning at 100%. Ignition source, timing and /or jetting may be at issue.
