Im no expert I've just watched tons of ballet videos, I'm guessing that the split sole means you dont have to snap them and cut half of the insoles out also they look like they have some sort of embossed pattern on the sole too so you probably don't have to score them either. They make your feet look really pretty

I have a model from bloch with the same material than etu but a bit different form unfortunately not available online, dont even have a model name but just in the store I bought them. They are really great. I also likebthe etu very much but this fitted me a bit better. Please please do more models like etu. They are another point shoes level confortable like sneakers

they kind of run short, i wear a 5.5XX in the heritage, but the 6.5X in the etu fits better
