So I bought this with the Bloch dance sneakers, my review: they work, in the studios, but were totally destroyed after 1 single night of dancing in other venues, and I haven't even spin much mainly dancing on the spot! Also forget about anywhere outdoor they wont last there. Also 1 spot is not enough for me to get the full range of motion, I need to put 3....Better have it built in or just get slippery plastic sole shoes, much better range of spin control. However, it is still a useful tool to carry around to use in random circumstances and increase the slips in different types of floors, will just have to keep buying them ...

which sneakers did you use them with? I'm looking at the Alcyones but they don't have a spin spot... wondering if the Alcyones are still suitable for spinning without the Blochspots as I don't want to keep buying disposable patches

@@celine5668 so I actually tried with the Alcyones, but I have to say it is a good sneaker but not suitable for dancing at all in my opinion - BLOCH please read this. The sole is super grippy, and with grids (not sure how to describe it like the surface is not smooth) made it hard to attach the stickers properly, the sticker works better on shoes that has a smoother surface on the sole so the sticker can stick better. For the stickers I will still buy them to use on unexpectedly sticky floors, but use it with other sneakers that will work on most of the floors. I dance in many different places including outdoors and long hours in congresses so my requirements for durabilities are probably much higher than - say someone who wants to use it in studio classes. However, the Omnia looks good, has anyone tried? please let me know how it is ! 😃

If you stick them to trainers, and wear those trainers to class, will this significantly wear down the BLOCHspot? Would you recommend reserving them specifically for shoes to wear when dancing?

@@celine5668 in classes they are mainly safe, but as soon as you take the shoes outside they get destroyed and peel off, i think they mainly peel off first before they get destroyed 😅 I have yet to try it with a pair of shoes only reserved for studio/indoor use, maybe that will last quite a while I imagine.

How long do these last (or are they meant to be disposable)? And do they protect the floor as well? I'm not allowed to dance on some wooden floors with my Baroque Dance shoes because the heels leave scuff marks--would BlochSpots solve that problem? If so, that would be great!
