Its dangerous but not like drugs or alcohol or sugar, because u can get addicted only in your childhood. This game will not blow away 30 year old guys. 99.9% guys quit in 25. Its much better to play wow in your childhood than drink alcohol every friday or trying real drugs.

My boyfriend does raids on this for hours on end and it makes me feel like he chooses this over spending time with me. I get people have their hobbies and stuff before getting involved, but I feel like this is destroying my relationship and I'm beyond fed up.

Pretty sure it's like in most games: the vast majority plays it casually while there's always a hardcore minority that no-lifes it. From the games I've played those seem to be young guys who are either still at school or studying. As soon as life gets more seriously they either stop or drastically reduce their game time.

Came back to watch this video after being heavy into classic WoW for the past year and a half. I’ve played a lot of games and dabbled in other addictive substances but WoW just hits different.
