Single target is doing fine. Currently progressing on Heroic Thok and I'm our teams most undergeared dps in the team and I'm still managing to top and pull 300k+ sustained and burst at up to 900k - 1M. Even something like Malk I can still manage to sit at around 300k. 563 ilvl btw.

sorry for being uber noob but how to you get the heating up and hotstreak so you can pop presence of mind and alter time

As of today 6/29/2014. Is "Heating up" Glitched? Was going through my rotation and every time Heating Up proc'd and Im about to use Inferno Blast the count down timer would just disappear. This did not use to happen. So are my dots now removing that count down if that dot dmg wasn't a crit? Does the Heating Up timer remove itself if the very next damage done is not a crit? I was always under the assumption I had the full 10 sec to get my 2nd crit hit. But that does not seem to be. While Im 1/4 or 1/2 in cast Heating Up timer just goes away. I never even got a chance to get a 2nd crit in a row. Im lucky to get a 1stack haste buff the way its working now.

Everytime i try to use alter time to get my 5 stacks my stacks are reset. Whats going on?

i start play panda few weeks ago , my fire mage have already 460 ilvl and doing 200 k dps on burst but i seen some mages doing over 300 k if 500+ ilvl . i do not use alter time

Im a fire mage with ilvl 547, what dps should i be doing, as i think im a bit low on it atm?

Probably at/about 200K, depending on the fight. More adds you'll do more obviously. Single target fire mage dps is really falling behind.

Please respond! I have a mage and he's 530, and the max crit possible I can reach with it is 30%, when I'm buffed I can reach 40% obviously but is that good enough to go with the spec? I miss playing that spec as I played it in Wotlk and in Cata... Stupid MoP messed it all up for me. What do you think! I really want to respec into it!

Apologies for the late response. I realize this probably doesn't matter anymore but here is my response anyway: 40% is something you can work with. Obviously, you will be more effective the higher your crit is, but at 40%, you're totally good to use this spec. I would not recommend this to anyone with 35% or below.

yooo raging scottish, you didn't have the living bomb debuff on the target in this video when you started firing out pyroblasts. That's 10% less dmg on pyroblasts which equates to less dmg on combustion,

8 pyros before combustion is definitely not max..
