@@jva_studio yeah someone wants to sell me a pair of Gemini 1000’s & 700’s for $300 or a pair of cdj 900’s for $800. I’m more of a serato user so that why I wondering if they work with serato. How is the 6.10 firmware working for you?

@@thecadillacoftokyo8788 in my opinion it works good if you r djing in a house party or a pub, I think gemini aren't reliable for clubs, if you are searching reliability then choose pioneer.

I had problems like delay on play and cue button and sometime crashing, that's why now I have bought a pioneer, soon I will release a new mix

@@mgofc non si comportano male è vero, ma ti consiglio di mettere da parte ancora qualche soldo per comprare un pioneer, a breve farò un video con la xdj xz che mi sono appena comprato, pioneer è su tutt'altro livello.

@@HouseMusicLover4life per il video ho usato due telefoni, la qualità non è il massimo ma rende l'idea, per l'editing ho usato adobe premiere sincronizzando il video con l'audio.

The analysis of the track is not good as the pioneer's one of course, for example some songs requires an analysis of a few minutes but only the first time you play them. Once you have analized them everytime you will play those songs the beatgrid and bpm will be already loaded. (Sometimes the bpm analysis is not completely correct, so trust your ears and not the display!)

@@jva_studio ok, thank you. Could all the songs be analysed with gemini's software before that and then be ready for play, directly? And also two last questions, I want to get the MDJ-900s and would you recommend the geminis compared to a pair of CDJ-900s from Pioneer?(having the price difference in mind) And also wanted to ask about the sound quality that the geminis output. Is it comparable with the cdjs or worse? I saw that the audio card can support also 24bit , 192 kHz, so have you tried to play bigger uncompressed files on the geminis?

@@Shipu96 You can pre-analyze tracks with V-case (software like rekordbox) but I have never used it so I can't answer you.. the output quality is good, I use them since 2016 in every party I play in. I suggest them because they are cheap and good looking, of course pioneer is the best but I couldn't afford their cdjs. Geminis work quite well and they have never gave me any tipe of problem, some of their functions like bpm analysis not always works perfectly, anyway i don't give anything.. so here's MY votes Quality/price: 10/10 Aesthetics: 8/10 Reliability 7/10

@@jva_studio hey, sorry to bother again, but do you accidentally have the firmware update files for some of the latest updates, because their shitty updater doesnt want to update them. Says "internet problem", although I am connected to the internet. And I can get another file than the 6.1 Version on their website...wtf

Once you set hot cues in any song they will be saved, so the next time you will play the same songs you will already have hot cues

Hi! MDJ1000 are currently off production since a few years, anyway you can get the newer version "MDJ900", that are the same player but without the CD slot, they only works with USBs

@@jva_studio jjjj,,,tengo uno de estos controladores, llego a mi segun dicen sin uso,,,pero tiene muchas fallas, el cue se traba con usb, o con disco igual,,,y al querer conectar con virtual una cancion, cae en los dos platos y un solo canal funciona.

Not so much, but crashes happens rarely when you try to overload the MDJs clicking too many buttons at the same time and browsing songs too fast. (But never when the music is playing). Anyway bpm analysis aren't always correct, it depends by the song and the genre (for example house music is pretty simple to analize rather then raggaeton).

Ciao! Allora io ho i 1000, però credo che siamo praticamente uguali se non con qualche miglioria. Personalmente li ritengo molto affidabili perché si trovano ad un buon prezzo e hanno molte funzioni. I bpm non sono sempre precisi, possono variare di qualche valore, del resto non hanno bug notevoli, solo qualche piccolezze come ritardo nel caricamento oppure brevi crash.

Sorry I can't remember where I put the file, I suggest you to download it from internet, it's easy, you just have to install Gemini update and then connect it to your mdjs.

Hi! You have to put an ethernet cable in both mdj's, and then you have to press the "link" button in the one that doesn't have the flash drive. If it doesn't work it might be an issue with the cable.
