I've got the same machine and have done a lot of fun projects on my YT channel using it, but I do not have the LCD. That seems like a nice addition to have. Anyway great video!

You are truly a skilled worker, I have watched all your videos. All cutting and trimming operations of the work are presented neatly and beautifully by you. Thank you for sharing this useful video.

Looks great! I'm looking at options for laser cutters / engravers right now and this is great to know about. Have you tried cutting metal?
@Longerofficial12 күн бұрын
Generally, machines with a power of over 20W can achieve metal cutting of several millimeters, and Longer does a great job with this!

Great review, Matt. I'm just not ready to pull the trigger on a laser engraver at this time. Bill

As someone who lives a good self assembly challenge ( it's NOT weird - I have a lovely allen key collection!!), just looking at this gave me a few palpitations. It's a 'splinters in the fingers' from scratching your head task 😂 I'll stick to furniture I think.

This machine is impressive! If I may ask, are you planning to build a PC case?

I think it is teak wood, teak is recognizable because it feels slightly greasy and soft, but the wood is quite hard, and when worked it smells a bit like old leather.

Did you attach your jaws as a recess or a tenon?
@MattJordanWoodturningАй бұрын
This was a mortise, but I use both depending on what I'm turing, grain direction, thickness of the piece etc

Крайне много кропотливой работы, но результат получился очень посредственным, при этом Мастер конечно имеет опыт работы с разными материалами.

Rather than use this beautiful piece of work as a bowling ball (I'm not sure the epoxy would survive long), maybe adapt it to be a bowling competition trophy.

Beautifully done. I do wonder how it would roll, as the weight would be distributed irregularly. I know you weren't trying to make a playable ball, that that was never the point. 😊
