i have a large gnarwhal. i absolutely DESPISE it. its natural states in even easy class 2 is U PSIDE DOWN. its so frustrating. it WANTS to rotate and flip so badly. and ts unpredictable when this is going to happen....my robin does NOT do this. i think the problem stems from the fact that at 65kg, im way too light for the boat's 200kg capacity

@@robbschnell8784 ok, this is first time I hear this. You can actually put it down without any paddler and it is super sturdy. Especially if you have hiking gear inside the raft.

I am stunned! I spend as much time as I can in Canada doing much the same as you during the four seasons. I have, however, used a canoe predominantly but pack rafting has caught my imagination. As as beginning to make KZbin videos. Two questions for you: One, who is the artist singing?! It’s incredible and I can’t find it anywhere. I really want to support that guy and his music! Two, on a trip like this do you think you would prefer the wolverine or the gnarwhal? I’m having a really hard time deciding between the two. Thank you so much and many happy journeys ahead!!

Thanks man. I can't remember the, I can check it someday if I can find that video from Premiere. Both packrafts are good choices. If you like to do nice eddie turns, then Wolverine. If you just smash down rapids, then Gnarwhal.

I used the old Alpacka Spray skirt system, what was with zippers and velcros, but not the new one. I think it is good if you are careful and you paddle lakes. But if you do whitewater, I would take self bailer or the ww deck.

Hi Caj, how does it feel to paddle the wolverine full day? I had a touring kayak before for lake paddling but I am looking to get a wolverine as I want to move to rivers class 1-3 now. Not sure if having my knees bent all day is confortable, on the kayak I could just strech my legs inside but for what I saw there isn't too much space inside the wolverine. I was looking to get the size medium because it has 112cm interior length and my sit length is 104cm so I would have 8cm of extra space to strech my legs.
@caide8 ай бұрын
It is fine to paddle whole day. You should choose the size from the size chart. You can size up for more "comfortable", but I would do it only, if you are between the sizes.

With those tree the difference with rolls is so small, that you can't really see it. But you can see the difference with 420D and 210D, 420D is a little bit more difficult to roll tightly.

@caide10 ай бұрын
Not too close to woofer. It is the easiest way to put behind the woofer, so then you have an acces there later if needed to. Bottom is good place, but it would be safe to have that acces if it needs replace or something.
