Thank you. I need some monitor that alerts me when I exceed my limit. Apple watch will require continuous checking and waiting it for measuring!!! Any advice?

Instead of underwear, I’d recommend diapers just before surgery. It’s embarrassing to discover you soiled yourself when you were out of it. A note : when they were putting in the general anesthetic, I went totally out, and didn’t experience anything with the nerve block. The man was there, all ready to insert the needle into my neck. I was totally unaware of any of it! I awoke and the surgery had been done!

As a child who became aware of & fascinated w/ Jack Lalanne at an early age, I began exercising in my early teens & 50 years later still run & lift weights 3-4 hours per week! This was amazingly insightful 🙋🙏

I went to see an orthopeadic surgeon when I was 19yrs old and didn't know any better. I had surgery on my knee with abysmal results. It is the regret of my life. Orthopeadic surgery has staggering high failure rates suppressed by the medical profession

I just had an ultrasound rt scan on my right shoulder, the nurse described exactly what you said in your video. I.e some tendrils dropping down from the rotator cuff tendon! Aggravating the bursa & area surrounding. I have had extremely bad time sleeping so was diagnosed amitriptyline to help sleep. Now i know the cause I'm hoping i can have this procedure

Thank you for addressing senior fitness. I am in a rural area and medical professionsls seem to give a wet poop about the fitness aspect of exercise and resistance exercise for seniors. This is a new frontier.

I was just told today that I have bursitis that’s pretty extreme with edema you’d bursa sided fiber fraying. They said this heals its on. I have been having issues all of a sudden since before Christmas with ongoing pain. They gave me. Shot today for the inflammation and he said once that goes down the graying heals itself. This part confuses me. I didn’t think that they do?

What’s the difference between multi joint and single joint? What is a multi joint exercise and a single joint exercise? An example of each would be helpful.

I guess I'm the most recent one in the comment section to have the surgery. It ended up just being a partial test so they cleaned up a lot of the fraying &removed part of the clavical where a bone spur had grown. Ouch! I'm now 3.5 weeks post-op. I'd definitely invest in getting the ice machine & we splurged on a new sofa recliner. Wow! It's worth every penny for both me and my spouse. I come out in the living room sometimes (like now) when i can't sleep

Hi, I follow you in Instagram. Love your video very informative. I wanted to contact you because currently I have a problem on my knee wanted to see if you can you help me Understand my MRI results please. . I had an MCL torn meniscus in 2019. Now I have pain had an accident in 2022. When I kneel or squad my knee bothers and I feel like if have a cut or knife cut someone stabbing on my knee inner side of my knee I already had an injection synvisc-one that didn’t helped me. because doctor told me I have osteoarthritis. Then he changed said I have a torn meniscus then he gave me more therapy I’m still in pain with discomfort in the middle inner side of my knee now he saids it’s arthritis can you help understand better if I have a torn miniscus or I have arthritis please. Even the pt tells me it’s meniscus so now I’m confused in pain. Can you just give me your opinion please. Thanks FINDINGS: The anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments are maintained. The components of the posterolateral corner and medial collateral ligament appear intact. Previously evident horizontal wear of the medial meniscus is less conspicuous and appears somewhat smaller on the present exam reflecting prior intervention. There is persistent near horizontal high signal present extending through the inferior aspest of the posterior horn body junction of the medial meniscus suggesting postsurgical change however the possibility of superimposed tear cannot be excluded, Correlation with MR arthrogram or CT arthrogram may be helpful and should be considered as clinically warranted. Lateral meniscus is intact. Bilateral meniscal tibial attachments are intact, Tricompartmental cartilage thinning in evident which appear similar to that seen on the prior exam. Joint effusion Is evident which appears decreased from prior exam. The patellar tendon and quadriceps mechanism are maintained. There is no abnormal signal evident to suggest fracture or osteonecrosis. IMPRESSION: 1. Findings most consistent with post surgical change involving the medial meniscus with a possible superimposed tear, discussion at suggestion as above. 2. Tricompartmental chondromalacia/cartilage thinning: unchanged. 3. Joint effusion: decreased from prior exams.

This graph shows exactly why we don't know how to treat or resolve this injury in a timely manner. It's happening to middle to older aged women: the most-ignored group by providers across all races. Also, what the hell does "cartridge doesn't like steroids, so we don't like to do it too much," mean? Does that mean cartridge deteriorates? Swells? Weakens? Why can't you be more specific? I cannot believe this patient's care team let conservative therapy last so long that the adhesions could build up so much. That suffering looks horrible.

tip number 11. If you have sleep apnea remember you will have to sleep on your back not your side after surgery. This often makes sleep apnea worse. Let your sleep specialist know. I ended up having to get a new five thousand dollar machine because they found out I had CSA and CSB after surgery. Going into surgery I was on cpap for OSA. Now using ASV.

It revealed an anterolateral intermeniscal cyst with radial tear of anterior portion of lateral meniscus. There is also mild Chondromalacia. Should I go for meniscectomy and chondroplasty. Thanks in advance

I injured my knee 9 wks ago. X-ray shows NO fracture or arthritis. MRI shows complex medial meniscus tear, bone bruise & a Baker's Cyst. I 've heard about the study countless times, but, mine was a acute tear, I know exactly how it happened. My DR said if I were younger I would've already had the surgery. I start PT next wk, and I have a brace, and my DR has mentioned cortisone shots, which I'm not in favor of. There seems to be NO solutions to this nightmare situation.

Thank you very much for sharing your video and expertise. This is one of, if not the best, videos explaining bursitis (what it is and the surgical procedure). Every video should be this well put together. Precise and to the point, while being easily understood. I ran across your video today because my mum is having surgery for bursa spurs. I just subscribed and plan to watch more of your videos. 🤪🙃
