L💕VE extruded aluminum! Suggestion: use a large cargo net to hold the upper bunk, instead of straps.

What a wonderful build! I love that the lift is on the back; it opens up the space so much! And the support bars are just brilliant. Well done. Thank you for tapping this build!

I'm retired & looking for a shuttle bus to build out. Shuttle buses come with air conditioning, which I need because of health reasons. I have an emotional support dog. She's my baby. If people don't welcome her, then we move on & put them in my rearview. I don't feel safe camping in tents anymore. Safety is a big concern for ladies on the road. Your rig is beautiful & I hope we meet on the road sometime

Two vital measurements: How much cold does it put out (expressed in btu/hr) and how much power does it draw to do that (expressed in watt-hours or kilowatt-hours for big draws). Leave that out and its just more youtube yappology

So cops get briefed every morning to keep an eye out and hassel every grey haired looking grandma 👵 as a possible criminal senior citizen? That's ridiculous, and the police force knows it! Everywhere else, people smile ,step aside, or open doors and are courteous to seniors. What is it about a senior possibly living in a car or van that gets the ire up in these cops nowadays? Another point is why are two obvious older, and respectable looking women addressing topics like drinking & driving and drug use? Things they are are way pass in age having to even think about as a motorist.Taking up those topics are to be left to people who DO have to think and worry about. Not innocent senior women picking up the torch for those kinds of behaviors that have no place in or around a vehicle, parked or moving. And for police to assume that these two very far apart in age groups of people, should be treated in the same manner demonstrates improper training and a serious need for some sensitivity courses.

Wow, that was easy! Four Pep boys mechanics tried to figure out why my headlight wouldn't work after putting in a new bulb ( 1st mechanic went in to replace indicator light but evidently disconnected the headlight connection instead). After trail AND error, one or all managed to mangle all the prongs from the headlight assembly so badly the car's receptor wouldn't accept the connection. Then pep boy's yada, yada, yada tried to explain it so that it was my headlights prongs fault, along with the receptor the prongs fit into, and wanted to charge me $1,400 for a new headlight assembly! I then took my car to my honest, trustworthy, in the business for 40 years mechanic, he took one look at the bent all out of shape prongs and said "Who did this?!" I confessed I took it to pep boy's. He scolded me, again, about taking my car there. He proceeded to straighten out all the prongs and fit them with a skilled hand back into the receptor (turned out my bulb was still good). It took him an hour of labor. I saved $1,310. Now everything fits tight and secure (something pep boy's said would never happen without a $1,400 part btw). But to be fair pep boy's in the past, has done me some favors (which I was reminded of time and time again when I went back to complain about what was really happening under the hood that day). Pep boy's summed it up using reverse psychology saying "Have you ever made a mistake?" (note no mechanic involved owned up to theirs, or at any time just straightened out the prongs themselves). I said I was grateful for some of the kind things, but it still didn't add up to trying to charge me a very costly bogus repair. I've finally learned my lesson. Ok, no more Pep Boy's (my mechanic says they're going out of business anyway, so that takes care of that).

Love the van, and the mods. But as a soon-to-be Travato owners (59KL in our case) with 2 cats and a small dog, I'm looking for a solution for the cat pan... Where do you keep yours? (And the spare kitty litter.) We're not giving up our sticks and bricks home, but want to spend a LOT more time seeing this beautiful country, and our Travato. Thanks!

On my 2024 Toyota Sienna, I only had to cut off about a quarter inch off of each end. The window edge is almost straight, but good enough to fit in that groove. Works great. My local Lowes had these.

I want my windows to be more open. So ,Im thinking of cutting off the bottom border of the gutter guard, then take another piece of gutter guard(maybe have to trim the bottom of the new piece. Then join them together so my window can be open more . Hmmm im thinking. I live in my mini van ,sleep and set in my drivers seat 24/7
